DNR seeks comments on Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area mountain bike trail system EAW

There is far too much money being spent on Trails and recreation for a small minority. The school systems are suffering greatly and the education of our children is suffering. The teachers and administration does not seem to loose near as much as the students. Minnesota schools do NOT rank among the top. THE MONEY COULD BE BETTER SPENT FOR EDUCATION OR MANY OTHER PROJECTS TO BENEFIT A LARGER MAJORITY OF PEOPLE.

Schools are a lot like everything else, you get as much out of it as you put in. Some kids will learn wherever you put them, some will not, no matter where they are. My wife and myself spent time every night for 10+ years to be sure our kids were educated, don't depend on someone else to do it for you.

I plan on driving some 500+ miles to visit the area with friends, so if the goal is to bring more tourists/money into the area then it is working.

Who knows, some people might visit the area to bike, fish, hunt, snowmobile and decide to move there, build a house, pay taxes.(additional revenue for the school)
