No it's not "Alex", both are exactly the same issue In that human activity is harming the oceans. But coal is worse because the humans know it is killing the environment and still put it out there daily while the radiation was the result of an unusual event caused by a natural disaster, we never intended for it to go there. Nuclear power reduces the effect of human activity on a daily basis while coal exasperates it on a daily basis. Why aren't they protesting the real crime committed daily against the oceans?

yes we need to have more scrubbers on smoke stacks of the coal fire plants etc., but Obama etc. are out to kill the coal industry cuz they're corrupt not cuza any altruistic 'green' anti-pollution ideals.
Nuclear being 'Green' and 'Safe' is demonstrably untrue, a big fat lie.
"while the radiation was the result of an unusual event caused by a natural disaster,"
it wasn't an unusual event in Japan for big QUAKES to occur! That according to Fukushima reactor workers who spoke out was the real cause of the problems that led to the meltdowns, Not the tsunami, as they witnesses critical pipes had burst and other big problems immediately after the quake yet Before the tsunami hit.
"Nuclear power reduces the effect of human activity on a daily basis "
-yeah One Million people died younger than usual from the cancers they got due to Chernobyl's radiation, and MANY have gotten cancer due to other man-made nuclear pollution sources like the 'Downwinders' and those near Hanford and TMI and Sellafield etc. etc. not to mention the huge uranium mining pollutions.
"...we never intended for it to go there."
"we"? Some very nuketarded aholes decided to build nukes by the sea on that major seismic active FAULTLINE, and to use a reactor design that the 'GE Three' original design engineers whistleblew on 40 years ago as being a lemon and suseptable to big problems from quakes! That's not 'unusual', human error is unfortunately the Usual in nukedom and will kill us all off a lot quicker than mercury in fish!
want to protest mercury toxixity then Google vaccine dangers truth and the fact that mercury and other toxins and live cancer viruses in the vaccines has been killing many and f**ing up many such as with the sky high rates of autism.

Every hour spent watching TV, DVDs and videos as an adult reduces life expectancy by almost 22 minute.
-That's what they want us to believe. Read the news article below and think for yourself.
"Nuclear power plants are a minor risk"
#27 Jun 3, 2012
for each person killed by nuclear power generation, 4,000 die from coal. This is adjusted for how much power is produced by each method of power generation.
He also points out that if we were to take into account such things as deaths from environmental impacts yet unmeasured, due to climate change caused by fossil fuel emissions for instance, the chart would skew even more.
#28 Jun 3, 2012
Many of us even know that we consume mercury from deep-sea species of fish, yet many of us still donít connect the dots back to coal Ė at least not consciously.
#29 Jun 3, 2012
Having said that, it should also be acknowledged that the number of deaths attributed to nuclear accidents is a source of serious contention. For instance, this recent take-down of the nuclear power industry raises the possibility that the Chernobyl death toll was grossly underestimated by the Soviets and even the international community. Alternatively, there are also reports claiming the death toll from Chernobyl was over-estimated. Itís all quite confusing isnít it? How are we to know how accurate the data is?
Personally, as well as other renewables, Iím becoming a bigger and bigger fan of solar technology, and the potential it holds for us all.

Pretty much every post ewe make.

'IKMTY' said here that if someone sees any ads above they don't know what they're doing, not have their pc settings right to block em all whatever
But I'm glad I can see how sinister Topix is by being able to see the G-d ad above from the zionist scum looking for support of 1948 'Israel'
oh BTW nuketard, that's oft repeated BULLSH'T about "for each person killed by nuclear power generation, 4,000 die from coal."
"Itís all quite confusing isnít it?"

At local Nuclear Plant ........
Anyone find the seal?
Is the deodorant person alias sick of it too?
Does the plant inspector at least wear deodorant ? Obviously the inspectors are not inspecting , what other explanation is there?
Are the pictures on this page of what looked like a dating site really the nuclear power plants inspectors ?
are all of the above looking for the missing power plant flood seal that could have been and evacuation nightmare if it flooded .
OR are they looking for other deodorant wearers?
