U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 RBG-47190 Subject: Additional Information Regarding November 21, 2011, Predecisional Enforcement Conference River Bend Station - Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 License No. NPF-47 Reference: 1) NRC Letter EA-1 1-159, Closed Predecisional Enforcement Conference with River Bend Station, November 2, 2011 2) NRC Confirmatory Order EA-09-060, dated November 10, 2009 I was reading this, and it hit me all the times Entergy this year talked about fleet training...ethics, honesty and truth telling, but considering recent events at Palisades, DC short and service water coupling....but entergy is having increasing problems even with all the fleet training. So I called somebody in region III...left a recording on his machine. An hour of so later some top dogs in region three are calling me back asking me what is my problem. Typical NRC folks, they were very nice and respectful...and they talked about how they felt about what they were doing. I like direct talk and honesty...I like these guys. I don't think they see the big picture though. We talked about short of three hours. I felt this was kinda out of the norm with my experience with the NRC. I am taking to the resident inspector this mouring, she informs me I am not like the people she normally talks too, I am a verteran nuclear industry insider who knows what is going on in the NRC. |

What I got out of the conversation is they think spinning through the NRC process is doing good...the process and evidence leads to the public interest.
I don’t think going though the bureaucratic process leads to doing good all the time...the world calls us to put the information into a model in our heads and use our intelligence to flip these things around in our heads...to make subtle associations and anticipate the future. |

Judged: 1 1 1 HAHAHA, why do I doubt she said that! The only time you'll even find what you said in quotes is when I hit the reply button. Mike, please just lie to yourself and not to the rest of us! |

Right, bringing down for 5 days a DG and replacing its 480 volt cable...you got to be smoking dope to make that kind of careless mistake by tripping the good dg....
How many shift meetings did they have over this... |
