Teen suspect arrested in library attack

Hope the punishment will fit the crime. Some arrest record for such a young man!

I am still waiting for a statement from the boys father and mother.Should'nt they at least offer some form of public apology.Where are they at?

He's no man....he's an animal, and should be punished in the same manner as all his victims.

usually the animal cruelty concept leads to human cruelty if nothing is done about it... suprised he's not been in trouble in over 2 years.

Maybe he just hasn't been caught in 2 yrs. That's not to say he hasn't been in trouble.

Morris has a juvenile arrest record which includes 3 arrests for cruelty to animals. In October 2004, he was arrested on a 3rd degree felony. In August 2005, he was arrested on another 3rd degree felony. And, in December 2005, he was arrested on a 1st degree misdemeanor.
And he was out of jail?

Ted Bundy started off with acts of cruelty to animals, and then "moved-up" to humans.
So did Jeffery Dahlmer.
This may be an opportunity for the criminal justice system to put away a potential "serial killer". I'm not saying he is, but he fits the profile. Also, I'm in complete agreement with "Bob the cynic", this "suspect" just hasn't been caught in 2 years.
I hereby volunteer for the "Jury-Duty" of this upcoming case.

This dude should never get out on the streets again,put him in a cell and let the big Boys take care of him.

Wow "stubby" Im pretty sure race has NOTHING to do with that.Just because your black and you marry a white woman does NOT mean your just some "ghetto black man" trying to "get some". And just because your a white woman who marrys a black man mean your a stripper or "whore".this kid went to MY school i saw him everyday this year and he seemed quiet but he did have friends. it scares me to know that a teenager could be so cruel. I was sure it was another person, like a homeless man ive seen strolling around that kind of fit the description.
This kid,Kendrick, was one of my friends bestfriends.
He NEVER seemed like he could have done this, but im happy they caught him,he went to school on friday,because i remember seeing him, how ridiculous! i mean the day after he does the crime he goes to school? People these days just suprise me more and more. My prayers go out to the girls family because i have friends who knew the girl and my heart just goes out to them.

I want to know why ANY kid with a criminal record is allowed to be enrolled in public school...especially in this day and age where kids come to school with guns and mow down their class members and teacher in the blink of an eye. This kid was a walking time bomb and as a parent of a child who attends Bloomingdale HS, I'm glad he never took out his hatred and aggression on the students and teachers because he certainly sounds like the type! I feel terrible for the girl and her family and friends and I hope she makes a full recovery and doesn't suffer any long term physical or emotional problems.
This animal should never see the light of day again!!!!
I know this didn't happen on school grounds and it was after school hours, but I think there should be some laws in place to make sure kids with felony records that include abuse to animals or people, gun violations, armed robbery, etc. shouldn't be allowed to attend public schools!!!
I also think that the parent(s) of this animal need to be held accountable for him being out on the streets at 10:30 at night on a school night!
He has an arrest record since he was 12 yrs old!!!! Why was he on the streets period and not in jail or juvenile detention or something?

I agree with "many questions" as a student at bloomingdale highschool I agree that kids with
felony records should be going to public schools,
its scary enough,that it was a teenage girl who got hurt, but what terrifies me is that is was by a boy who i saw everyday! I know he lives in Tampa
but his mom or grandma or somebody should be looking for a reason on why he was at the library at 1040.I know he doesnt drive, so its just a confusing puzzle. He's going to be getting whats been coming to him in jail. Prisoners dont like rapists,molesters,people who hurt kids. He's in for a long ride.

Oh hell naw! I'm a black woman myself. You don't know anything about this boys family! For all you know, his father could've been killed when he was a child! Don't start pulling this shit now just because it hits close to home. I knew the kid. I hung out with the kid. You don't know anything about his family. So don't act like you do.

Alright. Any kid is allowed a free education, doesn't matter if they have a criminal record or not. You probably never met the kid so you definitely don't know whats going on in his head. Please don't act like you do. I am a student of that highschool. I'll admit that this is a major shocker but I knew the kid, I hung out with him.
Please don't go making assumptions on people you don't really know... Especially when not all the evidence is well evident.
I feel bad for this girl, she was a friend of my best friend.. I send all my prayers out to her too.

i agree with them. the kids is sixteen fucking yearsold. why should he be shot. if you shoot him then you just want to shoot babys. and second of all. just because he has an arrest record doesn't mean he did it. i mean theres a even creepier guy at the library who is always there and has a bike with basket. why can't they arrest him and take him as a suspect. and to all of you that think they know the info. don't jump to conclusions. you don't know the area or the kid well. so don't jump through hoops and make accusations

Wow I hope they caught the right suspect. You all have good points. Im a grad of BHS 97 and this story disturbed me a little more than normal. My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in this matter.
Ive always loved this town and have faith in our local auths to get this solved. I hope this young women and her family will have strength to get through this.....

so what if he just happened to be there like he was every night until someone picked him up and he saw or heard it happen and then later found her purse and went through it for money and got his fingerprints on her credit cards, etc? just wondering....
