This is the explanation. The fire department would sell 1000 tickets only ranging in numbers from 000-999. The tickets would be $50 dollars a piece and there would be a drawing every weekend for one year. Thats right there would be 52 drawings, one gun given away. The way the number is drawn would be the number that the Louisiana Lottery picks as the Pick 3. The guns we are looking at putting up are shotguns and rifles. You would have to pick them up at a local retailer and fill out the gun permits with that store. Also, if your number is drawn we do not take the numbers back you keep you same number the whole year and you can win multiple times. Please give your opinions so we can decide if we would like to do this.

People show some support! when your house is on fire and fire department doesn't have money to keep up the trucks . Dont go crying to the fire dept. when nothing remains to your home . just one more thing they responds to other calls besides fires , like medical and wrecks . that donation might be your life line one day .
