house fire

There has been a house fire in lewisberg a family of 6 has completely lost their home. The fire was on Apr 8th and not much if anything has been salvaged. However, there is one family member of the victims that is making it quite impossible for the victims to even have a roof over their heads. They were told, that a family home that is completly emmpty, they are not allowed to move in. How cold hearted can you possibly be to leave a family without a home when they have nothing especially if a house is sitting there rotting and the family has one that is vacant.

same here I have furniture also and could you get the sizes of clothing, shoes, I would be glad to help

The fire that happened on David st in church Point, any news on that anyone? I heard that someone may have wanted insurance money??? SO SAD

If the owner had insurance naturally they want there money.That is the reason people buy insurance.Why dont you say what you really mean,it seems like you are insinuating that the fire was intentionally started to collect insurance.You probably heard a rumor,so suprising in CP,WHY dont u wait and hear the facts before u start contibuting to rumors with nothing to back it up but the fact that u heard something.

Why bring up that situation (the house fire on david street) on a forum that is trying to help another family at a different house fire? All it will do is confuse people and think that what you are saying about the Lewsiburg fire is about the david street fire. The family is in my prayers, I know them personally and would like to help them out. So please give any info for droping off items to them. Thanks!

you can just drop off items at her mom's house...that's where she is staying for now. they will be soon moving in to a rent house until they rebuild. thanks

omg here we go again.they dont look like they need anything,they are always outside drinking beer everyday,save the beer money and buy your own stuff & put him back to work there is nothing wrong with him anymore.give me a break

this is to sassy and any one else who has a negative comment. If you don't want to help the family then don't. If you are worried about his job why dont you realize the facts, this is not the first time their home was destroyed. Hurricane Gustave took the roof over the kids room and dumped 5 1/2 inches of water into the home and they were displaced for over a month. Not even finished with repairs and stoping for the birth of the baby, they lost the home again 6wks after the baby to the fire, In the same night he lost his job. So no there is nothing wrong with him any more except the lack of jobs in the oil field. By the way sassy their life does not stop because of a fire and if they want to sit outside with a beer it is none of your business. If you want to help good if you dont then still good. Thanks to friends and family getting a benefit going they are trying the get there life back together and "GO HOME". So like I said help if you want or dont and if you have something to say to either of them I guess you know where they live being you pay enough attention to see they are drinking beer next time stop, and really see if it is beer they are drinking.

they have no new house for your information they are living in a "RENT HOUSE" get your facts straight before you open your mouth. When they get a new house it will be in the same place as they previously lived. So Sassy get your information straight and find out the facts, in fact why don't you get the endorsement letter from the St. Landry Parish Sherrif's Dept, better yet why don't you you stop by what you call the "new house" and find out all the information you need.

For if you did you would now they are wounderful people and what you are saying about them is shameful no matter what you are going to say about that family everyone who nows them are nows of them no you are a Lier God i hope god spares you from going through the hell that family has been going through that man has been looking for work so he can take care of his family what are they surpose to hibernate and not function in the world because there house has burned down are they surpose to live on the street of couse they got another house and first of all it is a rent house and there trying to start there lives over from losing there home and thank god brandi and the kids left because they would of all burned alive in that house so shut your mouth and leave that family alone
