Review: Knutson Photography

Knutson Photography ruined my wedding photos. I would not recommend their services. My photos have huge white reflections in the background because his flash was so bright against a flat surface and this was on the posed photos where he had time to see what he was doing. Not trying to be impolite but he ruined my wedding photos, a moment I will never get back.

My friend used Knutson for her May 2009 wedding and it's been a nightmare ever since. She was impressed with his portfolio and was very happy with the engagement pics he took, but the wedding pics were absolutely unacceptable. All of the group photos have huge white flash reflections against the church's wooden altar in the background. The pictures of the wedding party walking down aisle look like there was too much or too little flash used; everyone is either muddy-looking or ghostly-white. There are some pics that look ok, but all-in-all they are not up to par with what he had advertised as his other wedding photos or even up to the level their engagement portraits were.
Now it's been five months since their wedding and Allan Knutson is completely avoiding them, won't answer their calls, even after he was told that they'd be bringing him to court. He was paid in full months before the wedding, and was also tipped a very generous amount and has caused nothing but headaches since the wedding.
I do NOT RECOMMEND Knutson Photography. Bad business practices and the photos are not professional quality.

MY YOUNGER SISTER HAD KNUTSON PHOTOGRAPHY TAKE HER SR PICTURES THIS SUMMER AND THEY WERE AWESOME. WE BOOKED A FAMILY SITTING IN EARLY OCTOBER FOR MY PARENTS 40TH . MY WHOLE FAMILY WAS SO PLEASED THAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT DOING IT ONCE A YEAR. IF THERE ARE BETTER PHOTOGRAPHERS IN BRAINERD I HAVE NOT MET THEM YET AND I THINK I HAVE BEEN TO MOST OF THEM. I KNOW THERE IS NO NEED TO LOOK ANY FURTHER.
I JUST WISH ALLAN WAS IN BRAINERD THE YEAR I HAD MY GRAD PICTURES TAKEN.
