So hows the church going? I think someone should use the freedom of information act to find out more about the investigation going on. That church is divided and people who dont like what the pastor did went and started having church in the old flat top arms place. Its a shame.

You can't put peoples names on here. You can't put names of churches, and then trash them on here. It wasn't a discussion , it was put on here to ruin the reputation of the church and certain people.

No it was honest discussion which some "devout" people did not want.

Those "devout" want to present a fake front and paint a rosy public picture and privately they are infighting.

Then the "devout" wonder why the youth are turning away from christianity in droves?

Devout people know that topix is not the place to discuss church problems. Your just trying to get some more junk started, and if the people from this church are smart they will not post on this topic. The way to stop these stupid posts is to not respond to them. Then you will have to have a discussion with yourself.

Honestly I think that if this man is guilty of the things he has done then people should do there best to make sure he is found guilty. Do you not remember all the altar boys in catholic churchs being molested. Thats how those perverts got away with it, because people turning the other cheek. this church repressents the "community" and stands for the entire city. There is nothing wrong with posting on this forum. Im sure someone in that church knows what he did but is afraid to come forth because someone may pursicute them and call them the devil. God can move thru the internet.

Do u ever stop to think that christs church would not be a place of fighting or a place of confusion. Do u think Christs church would be one were a preacher is paid an exuberant amount of money? I dont think so. I think Christ' s church would be a place of humbleness, a place named after him maybe the Church of Jesus Christ? What do u think?

No, the church represents Christ and stands for what He says is right and wrong. They are just to be a light to the community. If anyone knows if he did something wrong, and if they did come forth, it wouldn't and shouldn't be done on a topix forum.

I think they got into trouble because they owe 6 million dollars on the building. Maybe that is what happened and now they have to have more services to raise money. It's sad because they had some big programs for the community and did a lot of good but owe too much money on that building. It's the biggest church in Beckley and a beautiful building inside. It's huge!

I have heard the pastor preach and he is a really good preacher. I wish them well.

He is a good preacher. Maybe everything will be okay. Sometimes people in church don't get along just like anywhere else and then they forgive each other. That is the way it's supposed to be. Everyone is so nice there. If everyone would just go and stop arguing and keep helping and paying their tithes and doing their work and keep out of everyone's business it will be okay. They have too much good going on to be having problems. Big group hug is what they need and everyone say they are sorry.

The man needs to leave. The things he has been accused of are awful. Someone spoke in tongues of a division of the church and it has came!!

A man is innocent until PROVEN guilty.So lets guess- New preacher in town, people decide they don't like him , because he don't do things exactly like the last preacher, So they start trouble, causing discord in the church, by the way (God hates this). They talk about the preacher doing wrong, and there doing wrong theirselves, by not handling their differences in the proper way. People, God doesn't bless anything thats not done according to His word, and His ways. It doesn't matter if it's done by the preacher or someone in the congregation. You're deceived if you believe otherwise.
