It seems to me there are three ways full time pastors/preachers will present the Gospel; God will make you rich, God will give you true love, and of course the third one is manipulating people with guilt.

You can find at least one or more of these elements in every full time preacher/pastor's presentation.

The problem is; none of these three beliefs are specifically in the Bible. Without preaching these three heresies, The Gospel is a very difficult sell. All full time preachers/pastors realize this. Hence they understand they must preach lies or they will go broke.

I think you all are being to hard on the Original Poster. Maybe what he posted was seen by someone who needed to see it. Maybe it caused someone to hit THEIR needs.

This post seems to be an attack. If you agree with the original poster, then by all means explain why. As you can see, I explained why I didn't agree. Please do some critical thinking and post a well thought out explanation why you agree with the original poster.

I do not agree nor disagree Jack because I do not claim to know the original posters heart. I'm not meaning to attack anyone here, by any means. However, in my opinion, just from what I read in the OP, I cannot tell if this is someone just trying to come off as a good Christian or someone who felt moved to make a statement for the betterment of another. Someone else said Go to the closet and pray and I merely said to not cast stones and judgement upon the OP.

Ecc 7:10 Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.

I think it's time to move on. Those days are gone. You know what went wrong, the bad decisions, the mistakes. Maybe that's one reason you were there, so, if you find yourself in a similar situation, as TSACF, you can be on guard against a similar outcome.

Although this was addressed to LW, I thought I would chime in with my 2 cents. Yep, the TSACF has completely changed and it doesn't appear to be coming back to anything similar to what it was. None of the current members can allow themselves to have a conversation with any of the former members. They are embarrassed about the pastor's forced polygamy and the fact he was convicted in a court or law. The overwhelming question would be why did they stand by and allow it? Of course a miracle could occur and the former members would rise up and speak the truth.

It seems your opinion is actually "no opinion." You are saying someone cast judgement. I don't think you have carefully read the posts using critical thinking. Maybe you could, as I previously mentioned, explain in detail why you believe this.
