Pittsburgh FBI Shooter's Husband Charged In Insurance Fraud Scheme

Well Mr. Korbe is a scumbag, who would have put this past him?

His father, brother, and sister were arrested on charges unrelated to the insurance fraud. What a family.

Yeah the cops are definitely on a witch hunt. Too many coincidences all at once. They're trying to create a hostile jury for Christina Korbe.

How about the entire family on both sides are criminals and are being dealt with accordingly.

The police in Pittsburgh aren't *that* good. The FBI probably told them whats going on and they followed up. Its just too many coincidences all at once for an inept police force to just all the sudden start getting its act together.

Christina Korbe probably is not going to have a fair trial.

The polce in Pittsburgh are as good as any other law enforcement entity. There are some issues sure, but there are also many fine men and women who do their jobs well inspite of their surroundings. The fact of the matter is, these people are criminals, their families are mostly criminals, there was an agent killed while enforcing the (our) law on these criminals, and there will be repercussions because of the lives they have chosen to live. Just Saying....

I didn't think the Pittsburgh police were involved at all. Just the Feds, County police, and local Indiana police.

I'm just hoping their kids can be saved, the parents are nothing but scum.

The husband was scum. The verdict is still out on Christina Korbe.

She allowed her children to live in that enviroment, she's scum.

I'm sure her kids had a great childhood, had everything they wanted and loved their father and all of their "criminal" uncles, aunts and extended family members. And I'm positive they wish they could be with their Mommy while their Daddy is on trial, she defended them from a gang of armed men after all.

Your outlook on life is much different from mine. I don't consider FBI agents serving a warrant as "a gang of armed men".

You contend that being a player in the drug game she was expecting that eventually someone would show up to rob them. Shouldn't she also expected the police to show up as well? and be prepared for that situation?

I don't consider FBI agents serving a warrant as "a gang of armed men". But that is not who or how showed up to her door at 6AM that morning. And for the record, I'm sure our outlooks on life are amazingly similar.

To start with, she wasn't a player in the drug game. Or if she was, that hasn't come to light yet. Her husband was the player in the drug game and for all we know, she was just as much a victim of that game as Agent Hicks. Secondly, she had every right to defend herself, regardless of who it, was breaking into her house unannounced with weapons drawn. The fact that her husband was a drug dealer and may have had criminal enemies is only is the icing on the cake.

She behaved as any reasonable person would have when a gang of armed men broke into her house unannounced at 6AM, whether her husband was a drug dealer or not.

The fact of the matter is that the cops screwed up trying to nab Mr. Korbe. One of their own died as a result of their negligence and they're turning Mrs. Korbe into the scapegoat. They're not only trying to ruin her life, but they're trying to ruin all of her friends and families' lives as well. It really is a shame, but thats how cops work when one of their own dies.

Of course I don't agree with him. No self-respecting American that loves his country would. The FBI are not a gang of criminals, they're good guys. They protect us, all of us. Its just a shame they screwed up in trying to nab Mr. Korbe and jumped the gun. Now, one of them is dead.

Hi FP. As a grateful recovering Adult Child of an Alcoholic, I grew up in a violent house. Children aren't immune to unhealthy and unacceptable behaviors. I'm not attempting to argue with you one way or the other. I can only share my experience, strength, and hope. And, I was adversely affected in that house. Boundaries were violated to say the very least. My parents were unable to give to me what they themselves did not receive. Yes, I had a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food on the table: the basics. And, I lived in fear, in terror. Again, I can only speak for myself. Just wanted to share, that's all. Both parents are responsible for the welfare of their children.

We don't know if either parent was a drug addict. All we know is that one was a drug dealer and the other was a PTA Soccer Mom. Anything else is just assumption.

I'm not ruling it out as a possibility. We just don't know the facts yet.

The fact is that her husband dealt drugs out of the home she was raising her kids in...which makes her an irresponsible, greedy b!tch. I don't need any more evidence to come to that conclusion...

Was he dealing drugs out of the house? Or was he just living there?i I don't recall reading anything about his case in relation to him dealing out of the house.

Christina KORBE killed a human being on 11/19/2008. She had no justifyable reason to do so. I have been involved in many such POLICE raids and they announce who they are when knocking at your door. She knew who was at her door and she and her drug dealing husband knew what to do. He ran down to flush the drugs while she held the cops off. Well listening to her jail house tapes.......any novice PSYC 101 student could clearly see she is a NARCIST and KILLED that FBI Agent to defend her DRUG LIFESTYLE.
ANyone whom has ever dealt drugs always fears that the person whom they were not sure of , an d they just sold to , will tell the police!
