Welcome to central Ky.. After years of research pertaining to the turn signal problem, I have come up with a most disturbing conclusion. They don't use them in fear of having to replace the bulb. That's the Gods honest truth!

It is just the same as someone asking why people can't spell with 3 periods after the words instead of a question mark. There are a lot of dumb people out there! Do you know any? Look in a mirror.

Actually, you are supposed to keep at least 1 car "length" between yourself and the car in front of you, most people get right up on your bumper and try to push you forward. Surprise! I have a old clutch, hope you have insurance.

I would be very surprised if you could read the menu at McDonalds. I know you have held up anyone's progress by reading a book. If you want people to read through what you post on here, have someone help you with some basic grammar.

If you will take the time to notice when you are travceling out of state especially say Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and you see a wreck or a hold up of traffic when you get to the hold up or wreck in my experience it is 99% of the time a car with Kentucky plates. No joke......we have had a many good laughs while on vacation about these type of sites! Been this way for years, say back in the 70s. is when I started noticing these things. I do not have an answer but hang in there.

how come wrote: <quoted text> I assume you're looking at the meaning in Wikipedia? Keep reading past the first sentence. nope just verified what I thought it meant by looking at my desktop dictionary el·lip·sis [i lípsiss] (plural el·lip·ses [i líp sz]) n 1. omission of implied word: the omission of one or more words from a sentence, especially when what is omitted can be understood from the context. The omission of "go" at the end of "I went but my wife didn't" is an example of ellipsis. 2. mark indicating omitted text: a printed mark, usually three dots (...), or, less often, asterisks (***), used to indicate that something has been omitted from a text [Early 17th century. < Latin (see ellipse)] The ellipsis in the form of three dots is used when text is omitted from the beginning, middle, or end of a quotation: Shakespeare wrote, "When sorrows come, they come...in battalions".(The full quotation is "When sorrows come, they come not single spies,/But in battalions"). Any punctuation that precedes or follows the omitted text may or may not be shown before or after the ellipsis: You can fool all the people some of the time...but you cannot fool all the people all of the time. When the ellipsis comes at the end of a sentence, it is usually followed by a period. Dots are also used in direct speech to show that the speaker is hesitating or has left something unsaid: "I don't know... I'll try... I can't promise anything." In some styles of writing, asterisks are used when part of a word is omitted, usually part of a swearword. that's all it's got and that's what I was taught in school. Unless you were just symbolizing a "wandering of thought"

well, we discussed that. Dude is a fruitcake that thinks driving includes sitting in a carwash for a few minutes longer than he thinks you should and bashing people for allowing the proper distance between cars (or anticipating someone wants to leave a parking place and repectfully allows room for them to do so) So we moved on.
