I sometimes forget about the unique, unusual plants, flowers & trees that grow in Florida...love this picture.
I like to visit Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota,
it is so pleasant & peaceful there.

Hi LilacLady,

Beautiful photos. My wife is also a photographer by trade, although she's currently dedicated to raising our boy as a stay-at-home mother. I, too, love being a father. I consider it a privilege and a divine calling.

That other forum is very mean-spirited (that's what spiritual blindness does to you), so I was hoping to find you at another discussion format.

At the same time, I thought it was good that we spoke "Christian-like" the way we communicated so heathens can see how believers' connection is so genuine.

I praise the Lord for the way He transforms people, including what He's done in your life.

You were asking me if I was on vacation. Yes, I am. We're planning to go up north where my wife is from to visit some of her wonderful Christian friends there, as well as visit family. I then will return in mid-August to participate in a teacher's workshop before school starts.

By the way, as you obviously know, my name is not really Bobby ...

Without going into too many details (this being a public forum), I've lived on your side of the state before ... I've visited a big church there near Ranchwood Ranches & have been to Sarasota for several church outings ...

Stay in touch & God bless you.

I haven't looked at the comments at my pictures in a while as you can see.
I try so hard to not get overly excited over what those non believers say but sometimes it just gets to be too much.

My Church is big but not real big. It's bigger than I was used to up home (upstate N.Y.) but I fell in love with everyone there.
I look forward to going to get God's blessing and see some good Christian friends.

When I'm not at work or Church services, I am pretty much at home.
My boyfriend lives with me (yikes) and we have our quiet time and that's about it.

Take care and thanks for stopping by.
God Bless!

It was planted there in 1930 so that would make it 79 years old.
Aren't they wondeful trees? I'd love to have one in my back yard.

They have them sent in here WA transplanted I guess is what the guy at home depot said But we havent planted one here yet but My grandmother always loved them and them in her yard and after she passed away we had a weeping willow planted in our yard in NC in her honor and we lovingly call it Grace (after her)WE have tons of Pink and white Dogwoods running through ths 1 1/2 acre in NC so Grace is out front and the Dogwoods are out back...I also have a lilac bush that my Grandmother had a huge one in her yard and my Mother took a piece and planted it in the front oppisite Grace and it is sooo beautiful even out of bloom but the aroma stays and stays smells so good! I have faint but precious memories of florida we were there when I was quite small and Flipper was on tv and my brother that lived there when he left home and came back from viet nam he moved to miami and took me to see Flipper who was at the zoo there it was exciting! My brother (I am youngest 0f 9) he was the 3 born beacme a postman and stayed there until about 10 yrs ago and his family moved to SC. But he met alot of people like he lived and delivered mail in Coral Gables and delivered to the Bee Gees studio there and often would see them with their brother Andy Gibb ( I LOVE THEM ALL lol) they were so nice he said...look forward to chatting more take care,

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Libra

Don't hold anything in, especially an emotional burden. The only way to drown the past is to open the floodgates. If you've got something to say, come right out and say it. The only people who might be offended by your honesty don't really matter in the grand scheme of things anyway, Libra. Great changes flow smoothly through your day. When you take charge, everyone feels at home.
