It's because he is a male. We in this country for some reason have very twisted logic on this man VS woman punishment thing.

What !! So is the 15 too low or the 250 too high ?

Don't you, intuitively, think there's a greater violation involving a 12 year old child "over several years" vs a boy 15.

Bail is sometimes calculated to include consideration of "flight risk".

Be that as it may...we in this Country do have a double standard on this. When it's it's a female perp we say.."ah the poor thing is misunderstood, she must me depressed, or bi-polar, or just stressed-out.." "We need to try to understand where she is coming from, perhaps she needs a little counciling, gee what would make her do this..."
When it a man, then we need to cut-off his manhood, torture him, lock him up forever...and throw away the Key!..."
Why the Big difference?

Why the Big difference?
For one, in these 2 cases: A 15 year old man has the physical wherewithal to physically resist a woman, usually. A 12 year old girl is no match for strength with a man.

15 is too low ... and no I don't think one is a greater violation than the other ... they are the same exact crime ... one perpertrated by a women and one by a man ... both committed against a minor ... so there shouldn't be any difference in the bond they receive ... but the laws appear to be different for men and women ...

that woman looks like she doesnt have 15 dollars much less 15 thousand. And a 15 yr old boy is a natural pervert so he knew what he was doing!

Both are under age, just because the boy is 15 doesnt make it ok, the crime is still the same. Face it, its because men and woman are treated different. The bond should be the same because of the crime, not age.

A 15 year old is not a man, and how do you know a 15 year old has the strenght to resist a woman?

Age shouldn't be relevant ... what the Judge's should be focusing on is the crime not the age of the victim sincfe they are both minors
