Out of freaking control! What is happening to our country? It's a baby...feed it! It's a school bus...drive it! Adapt to the situation and mind your own business.
I think that is what is wrong with our county sometimes....people always want to get in someone elses business.
like you just did?

There are two sides to this story. I"ll try again. Two weeks ago this issue was resoleved after the girl brought it to the attention to staff yes through the referral. Only ones talking about the issue were the students and no one went to the staff until she got a referral. Arrangements were made at that time for extra attention to care and feeding before the time to leave. She now is home much earlier and is one of the first to be dropped off. They went on TV both in Sarasota and in Tampa. Discussions at school with some of us other students was she wants to get on national TV. 10 Min. of fame is all they want. everyting had changed before it was on TV.

What an IDIOT you are--"the best she can"---give me a break!!!! The taxpayers are paying these cost. Tax dollars paid for the pre and postnatal care, hospital delivery, and all other medical bills and medicine are paid through MEDICAID. The milk, food stamps, her birth control pills, housing allowance, free baby sitting at school, it's all paid through our tax dollars.

How do you know she's on medicaid or gets food stamps? I, as a teen parent didn't get any of these. My husband (yes, at 16, and am still married almost 18 years later) and I MADE TOO MUCH MONEY. Go figure. We had our own health insurance and all. It's possible, not to say it's not hard, but it's possible.
You are more concerned about where your tax dollars are going, why don't you start asking the county/state just where it's going. Wasn't it a couple of years ago that the state had installed $5K toilets? Imagine that. Where's your precious dollars going now? At least she's continuing her education instead of sitting at home and collecting food stamps, medicaid and Hud housing.

Well, then who's fault is it? Unless you're referring to the fact that it took two to have this baby. Where is the daddy in this picture? Why isn't he helping provide transportation if the baby has a medical condition that requires it to eat more often and it can't be fed on the bus?

You didn't get anything 18 years ago because our government wasn't enabling these teens to have illegitimate children and PAY them to stay in school---it's a nasty cycle that the government has caused. As a retired RN for a OB/GYN that delivered many Medicaid babies I've seen and heard things that you wouldn't possible believe. Our government has let the welfare program get completely out of control and it's getting worst everyday.

As for your comment about why I am not worried about other issues involving the waste of taxpayer's dollars, I can assure you that I'm very involved. I email, write and call my representatives all the time about different issues. How you ever contacted your representatives or do you even know who they are? Perhaps you don't see any problems with the welfare ripoff.

The bottom line--babies shouldn't be on a school the bus in the first place and as I read this story, the bus driver gave her two choices. ONE -- they could pull over let her feed the baby and then continue the route home OR she could go back to school and find another way home. She chose to return to school because the other kids got mad at her. She needs to follow rules or find another way home. I'm sure that all the Working taxpaying Moms out there paying outrageous insurance premiums and daycare cost would love to have free transportation and child care and would be glad to follow rules in exchange for all the freebies.

All JackaZZeZ, would you rather she didn't try to continue her education and taking care of her responsibilities???? Because then she really WOULD BE living off "Your" tax dollars.... for ever & then some. But I suppose a whole life of welfare is better than just a little while she finishes her education and then can handle life on her own. Oh and heres a thought..... maybe "HER" parents are helping her out..... like your parents did, they let you live and breathe.... that helped you. That bus runs that direction everyday to & from school, whether an additional individual is on it or not.... so its not like they waste more gas.... or make special trips..... its going that way. I am so amazed at people everyday. And how much "stupid" is going around..... starting to think its an epidemic. Or contagious.... And I forgot how many people in this world are without sin that they feel so free to cast stones.

When will they have open season for jackazzez?

If this was not the norm I messed up so I need the gov't to help me, it's not my fault ect. You know where does shame come in today. People have no shame. You go into a store and see all these young girls with babies. You know what people like you will keep voting for the people who believe we need to support every bad chose made.
Look at the medicare and walfare system alot of these people could do with our our tax dollars but they fine the loop holes. Do you know their are people in the system getting like 362 a month becuase their kids have ADD that is a joke. I'am done 2 cents, why becuase I have to work and make a living to support God knows how many bad chose kids out there. Who learned from their parents. Becuase the world owes them something.

There's no problem with educating her. Glad to do so, but follow the rules. You can bet your sweet Jackazze that she's on welfare. Like I've stated before she has to stay in school to receive her check. But the rules should not bend when she doesn't like it. Just for you information I found this article. Hope you can comprehend this.

Each year, one million American teenagers become pregnant. Then 80% go on to have two or more children before the age of 19. As a result, the United States now has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the Western World. Teen births have cost this country's taxpayers $9.1 BILLION each year, according to a report by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. This report doesn't include the cost of illegal immigrants that has now join the welfare roles. This past year, Florida ranked second only to Texas in the amount of federal money --$10.7-million -- it received to spread the abstinence-until-marriage message. It's not working---

If you don't see the problem then I would highly advise you to take cover when people do find out the date for "open season on Jackazzes."

WHITEBEAR----
Is your vocabulary so small that you can only write one liners on all of your post? Take my advice--Whitebear--go have your daddy Buffalobutt loosen your Indian headgear. I think you have one too many feathers in it. Or perhaps you are smoking more than rabbit tobacco in your peace pipe.

The father of the baby is of age and has no contact with them because he's a violent individual. Before you ask the next question, yes the family tried to have him put away for statutory rape and MSO said there was nothing they could do because the age range was not large enough.

A 16 year old who got knocked up has already shown that she has pizz poor judgment. In this case she demonstrated it again when she chose to refuse the driver's offer to stop the bus to let her feed her child (as he/she is required to do)and instead chose to be returned to the school.
She didn't get that way by herself..........
And let the girl feed her crying baby!
