Hello Braidwood! I am happily posting that the Cup O' Joe Coffee Cafe is now open!! Our offical grand opening will be Monday, June 29th!! Feel free to stop in and enjoy an iced coffee, hot coffee, and/or items on our breakfast and lunch menus! We will be running advertisements in the Free Press as well as other local newspapers!! We are located next to the Chic Image Hair Salon at 553 West Kennedy Road, Braidwood.

Will you be serving latte's and espresso or just regular good old coffee?

Thanks to all for the support! Yes, we do serve espressos and a variety of warm and cold coffee. We also have an array of warm teas as well, including but not limited to Earl Grey, Vanilla Chai, and Green Tea. We also have lunch specials (Yum!) and a small breakfast menu, including bakery items. We do have menus for take-away, so stop in!! 553 W. Kennedy Road, Braidwood! I look forward to seeing all of you!! Have a GREAT day!

is this going to take the place of the steakhouse, or is it between chic image and the steakhouse?

I have been there numerous times and it is awesome! We needed something like this around here.

stopped in for an iced coffee - very good and very reasonable in price - their daily lunch specials - for a sandwich, chips and drink is $3.95 plus tax - that is awesome! Thanks so much Bobby - we needed a place like this!!!!

Thanks everyone for your support!!! We are very grateful for all the kind comments. We dida very quiet opening, just to test the waters...and things are going really well so far! Thank you all! We are open now, and are doing summer hours. These hours are Monday-Friday 6 am-6pm, Saturday 7 am-3pm, and closed Sunday. We will resume our full business hours the week after Labor Day! We are located next to Chic Image, on far west side of the building. We now the 'official' Cup O' Joe sign up, so we should be a bit easier to find! Also, as a quick side note, stop in for our biscuits and gravy! They are delish!:)

...and by the way, today's lunch special is Italian Sausage, with optional red sauce and green peppers....$3.95....for $1.50, extra, we can make it a combo (with a big helping of Italian Beef). Hope to see you here!!!

Take out an ad in the pennysaver. This site is not intended to be advertisement space. Maybe you should serve spam in your coffee shop the same way you serve it here.

Stopped in today for a late lunch. Food was severely overcooked, and the service was bad. I gave them a shot, now ill give them the boot.

I think your FULL OF SHIT and just want to start something with a new business. I have eaten there three times in the last 2 weeks, and all the food has been prepared right in front of me. The three of us had pulled pulled pork sandwich's last week that was some of the best tasting that i have had in a long time. The kids ate all there hotdogs the other day and if they did that then they were good. The ital. sausage and red sauce today special was very good. So I will say that there special coffee's are pricey but for a small lunch I have never left felling empty stomach. Good job cup of joe's I hope around for a long time. One thing though light a fire under Bobby to get that steak joint open. I want a steak meal that I don't have two drive 40 minutews for.

I cant believe Im even responding to someone with such superior intelligence and command of the english language. That being said...Ill bite. This site is for open discussion and opinion.
