What does everyone think about this issue... What about the three people charged, Will justice be served or will these known trouble makers get off as some of them have before? Also, what would make them burn down someone elses business?

I don't know where you people have been living, but the only scum bag, is Todd Ashley. He deserves anything he gets. He beats women severely. Has ten times the criminal record as all 3 of those guys put together. Don't feel sorry for the little shit. Hell he even broke his own kids arms for crying. Also being a city volunteer. This was no kinda arson. This was made out to be more by the little small town shit. The old place needs to be destroyed to begin with. It is an eyesore for the community and he doesn't do a good job running the business. So people think before you speak. As for those guys. If they did or didn't do it. I don't believe they were trying to scare him. I believe 2 of those guys can take care of anything they need to without doing something of that nature. Just small town crap!!

HE IS THE TYPE OF GUY THAT SELLS A GOOD STORY JUST TO HIDE BEHIND THE TRUTH. THE TRUTH IS.. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF HE DIDN'T HIRE SOMEONE TO BURN DOWN THE RAT SHACK SO HE COULD MAKE SOME MONEY! HE'S ALWAYS LOOKING FOR THE EASY WAY OUT! I KNOW A GUY PERSONALLY THAT HE BEAT WITH A BEER BOTTLE AND KICKED HIM REPEATEDLY IN THE HEAD WITH A STEAL TOED BOOT..TO THE POINT OF ALMOST DEATH.. HE SHOULD'VE FRIED THEN AND WE WOULDN'T STILL BE HAVING CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THIS FORTY YEAR OLD LOSER! OH AND FOR THOSE OF YOU LIVING IN JACKSON THAT WANT TO SUPPORT HIM.. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT HE THREW HIS GIRLFRIEND THROUGH A WINDSHIELD OF A CAR! IS THIS REALLY A GUY WE WANT TO SUPPORT? TODD GETS EVERYTHING HE DESERVES

My point? Why when cases are being tried and the indicted cases are up do these comments go up now? They are highly incendiary (get it)? Name calling is not the way to resolve nor is anonymous entries to slander. The charge is fairly public. If no fear, then why not let the case fall to jury without poisoning the jury pool? It's not about what you hear... it's about the case itself. Not the personalities. Arson is a crime and is not justified under any circumstances... scaring someone? building old? don't like the owner? none of these justify setting a place on fire - just a message for the pyrotechnics out there.

I don't believe any of this is as serious as the media has made it out to be. I don't know the people that well, but know who they are and I think that Cleveland is like it was 12 years ago when I left. Any time someone that the community knows does something left of center the attention it gets is unbelievable. I had a cousin shot down in sunflower county last year and it didn't get the exposure this deal has. I heard it was a big insurance scandal the owner created. Either way there are real crimes going on in the world and people are getting killed everyday. Maybe the law can focus on catching serious offenders more often.

Everyone often assumes that the first suspect in an arson is the owner due to insurance fraud... but suspicion is not proof and this is not the proper place to "decide" such. Also, to say that arson is not a crime of serious offenders, recall the case where I believe two firefighters in the last few years in the delta area were killed trying to put out fire caused by arson... then also recall that persons in Shaw recently died because of arson... so when you say go after serious offenders, are you saying because there was no physical harm to persons but only property, that it is a white collar sort of crime deserving only a slap on the wrist? Arson is not always financially motivated... nor are more crimes. Also, why shouldn't law enforcement go after all serious offenders? Or should they ask your advise as to whether it is serious enough to investigate? |

You should know better yourself as i recall didnt Anthony Michaels poor gas on all your clothesand set them on fire that you get so cheap from your on store (personalities)what a name for your store or your moms store.How many times have you had Anthony arrested yourself .You must be really proud that your man ha was also arrested for another felony for hooking a horse to the bumper of his truck and dragging it down the road until the horse gave up and continued until it died and then had sex with it.You really think people dont know who you are ? |

Speaking of starting fights I was in Bellazars one night and anthony came over to a table i was sitting next to and started a fight it ended up outside where Anthony went to his truck and got a can of gas and poored a big circle of gas around himself set in on fire and layed down in the middle of it .You should be concerned who your daughter is dating !!! |
