Post-prom partiers charged with underage drinking

Can't wait to see what the cops find when they bust a William Penn post-prom party.

The press loves putting Catholics in a bad light. That's called Catholic Bashing or just plain biogtry. At any rate, keep an eye out for public school prom parties. I won't hold my breath.

Busting an inner city post prom party could turn into a real big mess. Inner city kids have guns and will not go quietly into the night without blasting a few cops along the way like they do in the rap video;s.

There also aren't any metal detectors @ YC, or parents physically beating on the administration.

Uh...I believe it was schools in the county that had a student shoot a principal and it was a county school that had a machete attack at the school. It is county schools that have to have "cultural awareness days" to improve the school environment. A stapler thrown at a principal is not equivalent to a gun or machete. STOP BASHING PUBLIC SCHOOL KIDS!!!

With that said, All schools have some problems and the commnity and newspapers love to magnify them.

I know I shouldn't respond to your posts but I just can't help myself. I have been reading your posts and I just want to ask that you stop making generalizations and state factual information. I understand that you have your beliefs but substantiate your beliefs with facts.

There are so many kids with HIV and babys that go to William Penn. How smart is that in this day n age. Most city parents don't set a good example for their children.

I never said it was a crime it's plain STUPIDITY! In this day we all have resources to prevent this from happening. Being undereducated and stupid allows it to happen!

I'm just playing devil's advocate here. Are the county parents teaching their kids to shoot faculty members? Are they teaching them that they better than others when they make those judgemental generalizations? Heck the parents set bad examples when they attack administrators with machetes right? People kill me with their self righteous attitudes. Stop judging people. Open your mind because based on your way of thought, I should believe that at any time a kid or their parent may kill me if I was in one of the county schools and I don't think that about any school not even York High. All schools have problems. Pray for the countries schools public as well as private.

I am confused here. What is the BIG deal? Some kids were cought drinking underage???? Isn't that what most kids do? Isn't that what you did in your high school years? Get over it and stop making such a big deal about this. This is a waste. Is it b/c they are YC students? History has taught me that more kids who are troubled go to private schools b/c they can't deal with the normal population. Generally most kids that attend private schools have issues with drugs, been in rehab, or have had problems in the public schools. I have been to both and public school are much better. Private school education is a joke and kids grow up in bubbles.
