"The state is trying to cajole us into regional discussions like this by saying,'Here's a new high school,'" Marshall said. "I think their carrot merits at least a discussion."

Don't believe they ever said this. Show us the letter or phone transcript....or even better the dudes name...

Why didn't they fund Shirley, Ayer Lunenburg they were 90% ready???

smoke and mirrors......

This is all about Maureen Marshall's ego and her determination to build a get a new school project underway before she leaves. She's been pushing for one since she got to NM and she going to make it happen if it kills us. Remember when we had to let her be superintendent in two school systems or the state was going to force us to anyway. Now the state has gone from forcing to using a "carrot and stick" Maureen is always just ahead of them.

The cost of further regionalization is too great, they cannot manage the one they have now.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aries

There are mixed messages flying around in the ether today, so be wary about drawing any concrete conclusions from what happens now. Even though you don't realize it, you may be misreading the signs that someone is sending out, which will lead to complications later on. Be especially careful about indulging in romantic daydreams and then believing them.
