So prove that it happened. An execution order signed by Pilate would help. Or perhaps some form of tax records listing names. Or entries in some of the Roman ledgers or logs. A book that was written by a man that was only around 7 to 10 years of age when this supposed crucifixion took place won't cut it. Jesus was just a rabbi, and a rebel. Lots of rebels were executed. Paul made him a god, 30 years later.
I choose to follow Christ, and I see answer to prayer in my life every day. Through Christ I have found peace and joy. My faith sustains me throughout the bad times and the good. If I were truly a non believer, like you say you are, I wouldn't even bother to lend an ear to a Christian. You have said several times you want proof. This tells me your heart has not turned to stone. You truly want to believe, because you are miserable and you want that peace that others speak of. Why not let yourself believe? What would it hurt? Tell God you want to believe and ask him to reveal himself to you. Then be prepared for the unexpected. Again, what would it hurt. No one would even know. It would be between you and God. Allow your curiousity to take you to church in the morning, and when you go, let God's words speak to you. I am praying for God to reveal himself to you so you can know he is real. When you see God working in your life, and feel that peace in your heart, you will know that is Christ living in you. You will no longer be seeking tax records, and other written documents so you can believe. May God bless you and give you that peace you so desire.

He was probably thinking, "I am not going to let some welfare sob steal my shit." Can't say I blame him.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING YOU ASSHOLE?! He was a baby..hadn't even began to live his life and you just ripped it away from him like it was nothing. I can't believe you would be that HEARTLESS! Yeah, you might have been scared but you could have aimed for the legs or something just to injure him until the cops came. GOD will avenge for the little boy's death. How would you feel if it was your child that got shot instead? You've disturbed the whole community along with the boy's family and friends. I wish for you to see his face everytime you close your eyes for the rest of your long long life.

It is over for one criminal. They usually are bred that way. I bet someone in his immediate family has been in jail or frequents run ins with the law. If not his family, then his friends. He obviously was not a model citizen.

As Thomas and John have both stated, there has been alot a break ins here in Bowling Green. My mom had her house broken into a few months ago, by 3 kids around 13/14 years old. She wasn't home when it happened, but walked in on it. Imagine the horror that she feels everytime she comes home now, and this horror was brought on to her by 13 and 14 year old kids. Granted they didn't hurt her physically, but they cause lots of damage to her house, and they left her emotionally scarred. I don't care how old you are, if you wanna break into someones house, be prepared to deal with the consequences of doing so.
From what I've heard, this kid was a bit of a trouble maker anyways, he was having charges pressed against him for terrorizing another kid his age. You choose to live a life like this, and this or prison is your future, it's as simple as that. It's ridiculous that so many people are defending a criminal, regardless of their age.

When you try rob people you have to expect that something bad might happen to you. A more experienced burgler would have armed himself or made sure no one was home. Fortunately this little punk will not learn by his mistake.

I do feel bad, because he was a child. When someone is breaking in your house, you just don't have time to think is it a kid, or am i gonna get hurt.Your natural reaction is to protect yourself and your belongings. but you know what? If someone was coming in my house uninvited, you better believe my gun will be pulled. To much is going on these days, it's a scary world. PROTECT YOUR SELF AND YOUR FAMILY! I am truley sorry about the kid though.

The boy wasn't even inside the home and there were NO signs of forced entry, and this "man" shot to kill, not to harm. So exactly what does that say?
How in the world would the homeowner know if the kid didn't have a weapon? He was sitting at home minding his own business and someone breaks into his house. He didn't invite the kid to break in. I would have done the exact same thing! Break into my house and you will meet my three best friends...Smith & Wesson and Winchester!

Seriously, how many of you, if you had a loaded gun, would just sit there and let someone break into your home? So you would just let them come in and take/do whatever? I wouldn't advertise this fact if I were you. Personally, I think this is a sad sad situation, but I do agree a home owner (renter, whatever) has the right to use deadly force to protect his/her home. I always thought if someone were trying to break in on me and knew I was home, they were going to do more than steal....

I live on the street of the inccident and the man was in his rights to shoot the stupid child that BROKE into his house. HE was not arrested nor convicted of shooting and killing an intruder, i see that as a step up. Trust me I will not ask if you are armed or how old you are, if you break into my house you will be shot and killed. I support the man and kinda sads that he is moving.

That does not matter, if someone I do not know is standing on my back porch not knowing what the stupid ass is carrying in his pants [which could be a gun or knife] would you just say, oh hi, by the way come on in and rob me... but if you ask me, I would have been smart and shot him, then drug him 10 feet in the house, maybe rough myself up a little bit to make it look like a struggle if you really want to get technical about it.

So what the hell was the kid doing on the man's back porch and not at his own home instead of trying to break in on another and steal from and maybe harm? I'm behind the property owner on his intention to shoot to STOP. If it kills, so be it. These punks need to know that if they intend on robbing anyone of anything they should just think again and try to find a job instead of thieving their way through life. Think about it, do you honestly think this kid was coming by to have afternoon tea with the home's occupants? Hell no. He knew there was the chance of being caught in the act and killed when he started thieving and it probably was not the first time he had done something like that, it was just the first time he got caught and shot.

Dic*heads like you make me sick- think ya know it all, don't ya? How do you know Eros wasn't there to collect his share of the money for the drugs he'd been selling for the homeowner? Maybe he owed him more than he wanted to pay so he decided to kill him and act like he was trying to break in?! Know what's going on before you open your shi*hole idiot!

well, the way I see it if the kid was there to collect money for selling drugs, then that's one less drug dealer off the streets. Kid should have been home where he belonged instead of doing whatever he was doing.

okay so i see eveyones point.
yea he was a kid but thats what he gets.
he broke into this guys house before.
and if you break it again you should know that its coming.
especially in the middle of the afternoon.
come on.
but he shouldnt have to be shot until he was dead thats the wrong part if the guy just shot his leg then i dont see a problem in that but shooting to kill is wrong it every way possible.
i knew this kid.
ive told him that this will happen sooner or later and it came sooner than expected.
also you have to see that he was there to rob the guy so he does deserve to be shot but not to be killed.
so yea thats what he gets
