<quoted text>It seems to me that you are in fact judging me. It also seems that you are looking down on me because I don't have the same views as you. And to be real here, how the hell do you honestly know what goes on when "judgement day" arrives. You don't! So it appears to me, your opinion is just like everyone else's, an opinion. Again, marriage is not a religious right, one may be marred in a religious ceremony, but there are people who don't believe in "your" God that get marred everyday, well unless they a gay.
You can debate the details of judgement day all you want... on earth. But when your day comes, you won't be negotiating. How you turned this into a spiritual debate is beyond me. Someone told you , when asked, the Holy Bible said being gay was wrong. So you felt it necessary to attack the source. You can attack people, churches, the Bible or God, but bless your heart YOU WILL PAY. You better think real hard about what's more important for your soul. But while you're doing that, being gay is wrong.

If people just sat around and let people discriminate women and other minorities wouldn't be where they are today as far as equality goes. "Religion is the downfall of our government for sure"???? Let me ask you this: Are you stupid or what? Religion... God... That which stands for what is good and right. And you say THAT is the downfall of our government? The next time you have a thought, just let it pass.

I'm actually quite intelligent to answer that question for you. And yes, religion is the downfall of the government because they try to govern with religion which shouldn't be done because not everyone in this country is of the same religion. Therefore all other religions and beliefs are discriminated against because they don't follow the "traditional"( and I say that loosely because so many people have their misconstrued views) Christian beliefs. I believe that as long as something isn't harmful towards yourself or others then it shouldn't matter if it happens or not, but from a religious standpoint a lot of things could be questionable. It's not a fair system if people are discriminated against for a different belief system. So you can think I am stupid for thinking that religion is a downfall when it comes to government but I believe I have made my point very clear.

You've done nothing more than expand on idiocy. A government of members with a spiritual foundation is what this country was founded upon. It gave you your right to post your "spew" on Topix. They were smart enough to separate church and state in order to keep government out of religious practices. However, I truly believe they didn't have the foresight to see that a few twisted minds would put that into reverse and try to keep our representation from voicing spiritual beliefs. So to say religion has been the downfall of our government is as backwards as the sexual deviants arguing their points here. This country has lost its morality to the point of being a shame. And idiots like you try to pin that on the existence of "religion". What a freakin fool you are. You make no sense what-so-ever. Go to a mirror and convince yourself. It'll be like pissing your pants in a dark suit: You'll get a good warm feeling, but nobody will notice.

This country was formed because they were trying to get freedom from religious persecution, but everyone is persecuted in our government because of religion. I know we won't agree but to call me stupid because of my beliefs is just showing how close minded and bigoted people can be when religion is their core; exactly how our government is. One day things will change and you'll be the one pissing yourself. I hope that keeps you warm at night.

Of course I paid attention. Do you think I would've gotten As if I hadn't? Just doing the work doesn't suffice. I wouldn't have paid to take those classes if I wasn't going to pay attention. I'm not some stupid ass kid who takes classes just to do it and get them over with.

You said, "Our founding fathers didn't agree with Gay Rights? Hell, they didn't believe black people had rights or women could Vote. That is why there have been amendments. So with your argument, you must not believe that blacks, women and anyone else not originally mentioned in the Constitution should have rights?"

That, my dear friend, is YOUR misunderstanding of what I said. Don't put words in my mouth. If you don't understand, just skip it and be done with it.

So you're saying me quoting the Bible word for word is MY interpretation of it?? Get real. I didn't make the interpretation, I just wrote exactly what was there. No interpretation needed.

There's no way you're gonna convince me that people of the same sex getting married is Constitutional. No way. Call me a bigot, or hater, or whatever (go ahead, I know you're thinking it) but it just won't happen. But you know what? That's my opinion, and the Constitution says I'm entitled to it. I can say I'm against gays, and all of a sudden I'm these aforementioned adjectives, but if a gay person says they're against straight people, it's just fine. "Oh, I have freedom of speech!" they cry. Talk about hypocrits.
here's my freedom of speech. You sound like a damn backwoods, uneducated, redneck. Maybe we should stone you to death for being stupid.
