He was murdered around 2:45 in the morning but please go ahead and try to make a connection.
I guess he was on the way home from a shower, since he had a towel. From what reports said, this wasn't something that just happend all of the sudden, it was as a result of things earlier and just ended at that time.

There are pools in the area other than Russell simms. Russell Simms closes at 630. if you think he was stabbed as a result of patronizing Russell Simms then you would probably be safer if you personally stayed at home.

Its not russell sims. Its the PEOPLE at russell sims. The same people wandering the area at 2:45 a.m. the waterpark itself is awesome. But a lot of the PEOPLE that go there make it suck.
went there today

People great, life guards didnt waste time removing troubled kids out of pool (made them sit out), not crowded, and had a good time.

your name says it all. I dont' think I thought he was stabbed because he went to the water park. There is something wrong with people who would fight to the death over a few dollars in food stamps.

I went last weekend with two adults and two children. we got there when it opened. the only issue we had was by noon it was packed and someone took my things and threw.them on the ground and took my chair. other than that i really didn't think it was all that bad.. its cheapand one of the few things to do on a hot day.. You're going to always have children running around unsupervised when its open to the public and cheap.. if you want something different then maybe you should consider something a little more classy.

The Russell Sims pool IS out of control; just know that before you go; it's kind of like the wild west. Sad, but true. But fact is it's the only place po folks have to swim in or around BG.

The other problem they have is their ridiculously short hours; closing at 6:30 every day in mid-summer when it's 95 degrees in the shade, and closing for almost every day in August, the hottest month of the year!(Not to mention not opening til 1pm on Sunday!!!!!!) The managers need to realize that all the people they serve are not school kiddies, and not everyone goes to church on Sunday.

Instead of blaming the staff and management for the problems at the park...why don't you blame the people who need to be held accountable...THE PARENT'S!! I don't care if those kids are black, white, Mexican, or freaking blue and purple! I am out at the park just about every day, and race isn't the issue. Yes, I will be the first to acknowledge that the ones who have caused the most trouble are black, and at the same time I have seen many little white brats stirring up just as much trouble! Parent's just leave their kids there to be babysat, and the other half of the parent's that do come in with their children are just as disrespectful as the children they are raising! As far as management and the staff are concerned...they work their tails off to make sure that place is clean and safe! They have stepped up security and they take care of the park issues as quickly as possible. The majority of people complain about the safety and security and now that they are dealing with that issue, people are still complaing that how they are doing it is annoying! News flash you complained about it, and they fixed it! Now the customers are complaining because the staff is enforcing the policies!?!?

I took my grandkids there and we had no problems. I figured out where most of the kids are coming from it is Boys and Girls clubs there was 3 vans that brought kids in and just one adult per group. That is why they hang in groups. The pool did get crowded but the grandkids still got to play and had a ball.

and i hope the staff and management continue to enforce the rules and those complaining about it can just get over it! That is the problem...these kids don't want to follow rules or be held accountable. If the mgt. would call the parents to come pick up their kids when they are causing trouble and tell the parents if this happens again, your child won't be allowed to come back; and if the parents don't come to get their child mgt. would call the police and let them deal with the parents, we might be able to stop this nonsense and enjoy the water park this summer. Also, if it is the boys and girls club causing the problems, mgt. needs to take this up with whoever is in charge there and tell them to get more help and get it under control or don't come back. Those children need to follow the rules just like anyone else!!! Parents should have to take responsibility for how their children behave whther they are with them or not.

Well people as long as you got the black trash and all of the other trash going there and dumping their kids for day care or going an sucking up some rays and drank and some smoke your going to have this problem. Don't being dealing with the staff, im sure their hands are tied not to fix nor cause a problem by fixing the problem. He'll drop a dime and call the po po/ 5 O/ the man/ the pigs/ cops/the police or whatever you want to call them. but one problem is im sure there arent enought adults that go there and care so nothing is going to get fixed. So live with it until a body shows up floating. Its only a matter of time im sure before a drug deal goes bad and you got a floater.

Seriously guys? The staff there is awesome! Even though they are young they are trained and they know what they are doing. stop running your mouths about pointless stuff and the let the managers take care of it. You don't know what it going on so stop thinking you do. It's a place where everyone can go if you don't have a lot of money. If you don't like it, then don't go. simple as that.

who is to say they havent. Its not like they dont have free health care and could go to the er like all of the other non-insured/non real emergency type person. Besides most of them are probably a carrier of some kinda foreign disease anyways. Put you go ahead... gamble with your health.
