When people STOP blaming the police officer for doing his job and start accepting that the suspect brought this upon himself, we'll all have peace.

Excellent post about playing the blame game. As soon as people accept responsibility for their OWN actions, they'll sleep a lot better at night. Let the investigation take it's course.

spoke to a witness and they stated the man was using his fingers as a gun going "bang" while drunk and just barely standing-- slurring words to himself, right before the killer shot him to death w/a AR-15. This is f**king crazy!!!

With the way our society is and the state of our economy, not very many people are big on personal responsibility. I am. The bottom line is that had Mr. Harrison not called 911 saying he was going to kill someone and had he LISTENED to the officer's BASIC commands, he would still be alive today. The question that you SHOULD be asking is, why did his family allow someone with his mental handicap to be exposed to alcohol REPEATEDLY, why did they allow him to stay with someone who eventually threw him out into the streets? If they could not control him, there are state run & private facilities who are equipped to be handle these kinds of patience.

Does ur i.d. say " it is ok to allow this individual to purchase alcohol"? As far as i am aware an i.d. only states the age, not any restrictions on the purchase of alcohol or tobacco. Maybe this is something lawmakers should address.

According to his obit, his mother is deceased, so why did it state that he was holding her hostage?

If he was THAT mentally slow (mind of an 8 year old) and had a LONG history of alcohol related arrests, its up to his family to step up to the plate to make sure he isn't a danger to himself or others. There should have been someone listed as his legal guardian who made medical decisions on his behalf. As for his mother, its my understanding that situation happened a few years ago?

Please wait...
Well now the Killer Cops of Bowling Green have struck again. Rammed a motorcycle of a fleeing man. Seems a bit of overkill. Sure he was charged with rape and kidnapping. That can be anything from the real thing to keeping a 15 year old out all night and having consensual sex. Neither are capital crimes in KY.

No telling what kind of criminal background/record/past he has other than what he was being charged with. Once again, another idiot brings it upon himself. If he had obeyed the cops, they wouldn't have had to ram him. Crime WILL go down with harsher consequences and the law-abiding citizens should welcome it.

By the way, I'm sure the police know more about his record than any of us and acted accordingly.
