I agree with the previous statement made "the parents punishment might not be severe enough in this life, but they will receive what they deserve in the next life" Let's keep all those children in our prayers. This is just pure child abuse anyway you look at it. I too, hope they never get the children back and that they can be adopted into loving homes, and have the opportunity for a good life.

Its sure not the neighbor's fault. She did what she should ahve done, reported it to the appropriate people. If she had taken them food and helped them clean up and all that, the police wouldnt' have found a problem and to resolve the situation, the police had to see the problem as it was. The sad thing is that someone said this happened last year too. No telling how often they left town and left them there alone. Probably time to check in for their welfare in the other state. They are likely getting it in two states and had to go in person to prove they were there. There is more to this story than meets the eye, you can be sure of that.

Feeding the kids knowing they had no food ,would not hinder an investigation . All they/cops/ welfare workers had to do was look around , they would know they had nothing in the house to eat.

This is so sad. I really hope the parents do not get these children back. They certainly do not deserve them.

Yeah the police did such a fine job when she called on this household two weeks ago. If they would've done their job two weeks ago this would've never taken place.

The neighbor probably didn't know they didn't have food dumbass. Just that they were probably alone without adult supervision for an extended period and A LOT of them! Not to me tion, it you abandon 19 kids, I'm not caring for and cooking meals forall those kids while your doing GOD knows what! That's a lot of kids. its damn sure not the neighbors fault or responsibility. She did the right thing. And I'm sure they got fed in the end sooooo!

Feeding them today, doesn't solve their problems tomorrow. The only way to help them long term is to let the authorities see what living arrangment they were living in and take action. Placing bandaids on a gash isn't going to stop the bleeding.

The neighbor had called before and nothing happened. Likely, others had called too. I have called with concerns about someone in the past and the DSS office really seemed unconcerned about it, they said call the police, which I did and the police did go there and did nothing. These people had no electricity and had a small child in the home. It would have been easy enough for them to call the electric company and find out that they had no electriciy for over a year at that time but still, nothing was done.

Just because you can have kids doesn't mean you should. I mean seriously look at octomom. She only had kids for the publicity it seems like.

I was being sarcastic to the person saying the neighbor should have fed them! I wouldn't really order them a pizza.

Social services in every county is a joke, few months ago they caught a couple cooking meth In county I live In and had a 6 month old in there and less than a month the mother had the baby back. Sad to say it but kids is own their own, reason a lot of these trashy people need to be sterilized after they spit out the first one.

you find humor at the expense of all these hungry, hot, neglected, abandoned children! Maybe you should try going through what they did and we will see how funny it is then!!!!

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
