You shouldn't. I think sometimes it takes several "trials" to find a doctor who your personality "matches".

Most of the people they see are on welfare/medicaid. So they know that they wont get paid hardly anything. The people claim the have no money and are on unemployment or disability(even though they made it to the office just fine and are txting on a Iphone 4 during the examination) On top of those 2 strikes, they do not listen to what the doctor says and then tells them that the doctor does not know what he/she is taking about. And also runs straight to any lawyer after they think the doctor did some kind of "malpractice"

If your a normal paying customer then you need to let the doctor know u are not on the govt tit and they will treat u much better.

Just some advice.

prolly because they have to deal with patients who lie to them, dont listen to advice they give, come in looking to get certain pills cause they are druggies, have to constantly worry about getting sued by people because thats how america is, and not to mention the thousands of dollars that they have to put into school in order to become a doctor....sooo yes in order to repay some student loans they may rush through patients so that they can make money...yes they could be a little nicer at times but until u go through the stress of med school and stress of thier job cut them a little slack

Name these rude doctors already! Let's tell everyone which ones to avoid. I have private insurance so I don't want to hear the crap about welfare.

interventional pain specialist, med center er drs. by the way i am a RN, have insurance, and i know all too well, how patients are treated. one of the first things a dr looks at in a pt's chart is their insurance information.

Not all doctors are rude to their patients. Some actually take the time to listen to and respond to their patient's concerns.

Sometimes they are just having a bad day like the rest of us do. Sometimes they have been on call all night and have had little or no sleep.

If you think that your doctor is rude, even if you are in the emergency room, request a different one. That is your right as the patient. It may lengthen your time in the ER but the next one may be more to your liking.

Why just say doctors are rude, receptionist are rude, people at the drive thru at McDonald's are rude, cashiers at Walmart are rude..but we keep going back. At least doctor's have worked hard to be rude. While everyone else was out partying in college, if you wanted to become a doctor you were home studying. So either way the one partying who is the cashier at Walmart or the MD they are rude. Believe me..when they start out they want to be different then the long hours, the patient's who don't appreciate them..if your mechanic told you to put oil in your car and you didn't - do you blame the mechanic..but everyone blames the doctor.

You obviously have never waited three hours for your doc who was at weight watchers then went for a swim then went home to shower and dry hair. Bet if you knew the real stories you would think differently.

OMG, I don't know which dr you see but you obsviously need to find a different one. I know several drs and have never known any of them to go swimming, home for a shower and hair washing/drying while leaving their patients sitting in the waiting room of their office. Most of the time if you are waiting, it is because they have been called to the hospital for an emergency.

Yeah, that's the first thing they tell you and because you believe they are all high and mighty you buy into it. Yes, it does happen but not every time. And if you think patients don't sit in waiting rooms for hours at both offices and hospitals waiting for procedures you are wrong. And yes, without giving names, they do go to weight watchers, for a swim, run errands, meet their mistresses, and plenty of other things while you and your family wait. Trust me on this one.

If you saw a man or woman you didnt not know crippled in their wheelchair fall over? These so called people your naming rude are crippled. Crippled in sin not know jesus christ. Their falling, why not be a bigger person and smile and be nice to them help someone else with kindness instead of worrying about how they are rude to you. If you get on the internet to talk about them negatively behind their back however you choose to. That puts you on the floor out of your wheelchair crippled next to them. Please friends and brothers find the joy of love and kindness in our savor jesus christ and spread it and help the rude spread kindness as well.

Personally, I don't think drs are "all high and mighty". They are human beings just the same as you and I. As I said before, if you're not satisfied with your dr, find another one. There is one dr in BG that has the policy that if you have to wait more than 15 mins past your appointment time, the office visit is free. Maybe you should try him. He's really a good doctor.

When drs are in the office, they are doing more than just seeing their patients. I can tell you from experience that nursing homes and the hospital are almost calling or faxing the dr asking for something. The drs have to take time to address these requests. Alot of these requests can not wait until the dr is done seeing his patients.

@the comment about how Cashiers at Walmart are rude, and mechanics, and so and so...Guess what, they do not have my life in their hands do they...Dcotors know the hours they will be working, or the rude patients they will be dealing with, so if they cant handle it, than they should have thought about a diffrent career when they were in college..Dr gott is a horrible horrible doctor so I suggest you never ever go to him....
