Back to the original topic...
If someone shoots at me, I am UNLOADING my gun on them... period. I fully back what the deputies did. |
||||
I agree Lola! Were the officers just suppose to stand there until they themselves were shot dead by unknown individuals? I think not! Nobody ever wants to see someone die but there comes a time when you have to protect yourself the best you can. I think the other guy fired first! |

“TWOB or not TWOB, that's the ?” Since: Oct 08

It's been my experience that everyone in law enforcement is corrupt, especially if you're a dirtbag. Drugs are not so evil if you're a doper. Alcohol is not that big of a problem as long as you're a drinker and getting shot at is not so bad as long as you're not the one getting shot at. So to all the detractors of law enforcement and the greater good, F U!

1 i have recently had a VERY personal experience on this subject. I encountered a burglar at my shop in bowie. I was armed with a handgun. I caught the burglar as he was leaving. I drew my weapon and demanded that the person STOP! I had to move from in front of the vehicle he was in as he started and was about to drive away. I discharged my firearm numerous times into the cab of the vehicle, trying to stop the theft. BUT..... When the police showed up, I placed my firearm ON THE GROUND, as I was instructed. I laid FACE DOWN on the GROUND, as I was instructed. I placed my HANDS BEHIND MY BACK, as I was instructed, and I WAS CUFFED and DETAINED! And thats EXACTLY what Wheeler should have done. After the police got everything in hand , got everything under control, I was released from detention, the cuffs were removed, I assisted the officers and investigators with their theft investigation. Told them what was missing, walked though the incident about the firearm, made a verbal statement, and BAM!!! 6 hours after discharging my firearm I locked up the shop when the cops got done and WENT HOME to SLEEP in MY OWN BED!! NEVER EVEN GOT ARRESTED!!!! If you are gonna shoot a firearm then you should follow the law!! But shooting at a human being, even a theif, is something that will weigh very heavily on your conscience. Dont follow my example, dont take the law into your own hands. Protect yourself, keep your eyes open, but dont try to be like me. Let the cops do their job, thats what they are there for. |

1 Looks like to me you were protecting what was yours. Don't think that's against the law. Criminals need to learn if they steal, they may get shot. |
||||
I agree... But why dont you do something about it? Everyone complains about the sheriffs office and the commissioners not doing their job. I have my opinions. But if all you are going to do is complain on this website, then what have you accomplished. It is apparent that NONE of you people are interested or concerned about making Montague County a better place. It is apparent that this is entertainment to all of you gossip queens. If you have the nerve to complain about any elected official, get up and go make a REAL complaint to somebody who can fix the problem. Everyone is afraid of the commissioners. Dont be. They work for us! |
