Bowie City Councilmember Ross Hamilton Arrested for D.W.I.

How about a petition or calls from the pulic to demand his resignation?

Drug and Alcohol Testing in the city offices...and county offices! That would get these bad guys out of there!

Why? You can't be serious. I thought he was a asset to the city. Alot of people have been guilty of DWI - they just haven't been arrested for it yet!

I'm sorry you can't grasp the concept that public officials should at the very LEAST hold THEMSELVES to a higher standard.

If he was any kind of a stand-up man, he'd submit his resignation without it having to be demanded of him.

But, again, it's Montague county. There's no such thing as integrity in this God-forsaken meth capital of Texas.

Someone should write a letter to the editer and put a request for his resignation in the paper.

What about the CHARGE and CONVICTION of the City of Bowie Fire Marshall who was witnessed assaulting his ex-wife while ON DUTY in HIS OFFICE at the Bowie Fire Department? There was no call to arms for resignation..there was nothing in the paper, radio, or internet...he did not lose or his job even go on administrative leave until all charges and court events were finished and everything went on it's merry way. We do live in America and innocent until proven guilty is still one of our rights.

was he charged or convicted he could have refused to blow and still been arrested. i wouldn;t judge before the facts are in.

The Fire Marshall was not convicted of anything. The procecuter in the case dismissed the charge for lack of evidence because he didn't do anything and his ex is a crazy bitch.

The fire marshal was not arrested and their was no probable cause that he assaulted anyone but two state troopers saw Hamilton driving and know that he was drunk. Not the same thing dumb ass.

How is it not the same thing a charge is a charge..your inability to use proper spelling and grammar only brings out the most obvious that you still have no idea what you are talking about...legally a charge is a charge is a charge...and if you did some research both cases are class B misdemeanor so again as I said charged is not convicted.

Well, it may be like his brother, little Rexie poo Hamilton. Many know he provides beer for teenagers at Selma Park on weekends, but so far there is not enough proof to arrest him. Maybe some day.

I don't know where you get your information from, but my husband hasn't been to Selma Park in years. If your information is valid why don't you give your real name and I would love to discuss this in person. Everyone on this site has so much information about the Hamilton's and big enough to express all the knowledge they have. Come clean and use your real names, why are yall hiding??? By the way, how many of you big talkers ever driven while taking medication, that clearly states not to drive while taking. Or better yet, going to dinner, having a drink and then driving home - this list is too long to give all examples. All you people that live in glass houses, step up to the plate and make a difference in Bowie. Run for office be active in the community and keep the Hamiltons from apparently controling your city, county, whatever else you think they control....
The Hamilton's aren't perfect but they also realize they don't live in glass houses and don't throw stones, you never know when one might hit you between the eyes.

They have been there for me during some very troubling times of my own and couldn't ask for more classy, loving, caring, and respectable people. Obviously, you are speaking of another Hamilton in another town. I work in the legal field and a charge is DEFINITELY NOT a conviction. A conviction is when you have been found guilty!!! A "charge" does not go on your record. Pointing fingers does not have merit in law at all. However, stupidity does follow you around for a lifetime. Before you throw a shoe at the Hamiltons, try removing it from your big mouth first! You are all a bunch of classless, nosy ass morons. I am sure your lifestyle has a lot of cleaning up itself.
