Bwaaaaaa. It figures folks from this area would fall for some sh*t like this. Hell just look at the fools that hung unto every word spoken by Tom Murphy.

I am looking at this situation from a different view. It probably started out as innocent and then he became so greedy. I feel sorry for all parties! A perfect example of how the love of money is the root of evil.

How is scamming money from someone innocent? Over 7 million in innocence. But you are right about money being evil. Those fools would not have been scammed if they had not been greedy, and looking for a quick buck.

The paper said from all over the country not just in Bremen or Haralson County.
I think folks are impressed by power and knowing someone in power is from your hometown gives you an air of confidence you may not normally have. In it's hayday, Bremen was a force to be reckoned with as far as education, industry and wealth. Alot of that had to do with the fact Tom Murphy was in office. Maybe not because of the things he did or didn't do for the community but simply becasue he was there. The facts are, he is dead. Bremen is slowly dying. The town needs all the help it can get. I am proud to be from Bremen. Not because Tom Murphy or anyone else gave me a helping hand or hand out but because the people (for the most part) are good hard working people. Everyone gets snookered from time to time. I hope MS04, it never happens to you.

I really don't think it started as scamming. It could have, I don't know anything about this man. And, I said, started out as innocent. It didn't add up to over 7 million until late in the scam. Do you know this man or anything about his character?

Okay....scamming is illegal and it's wrong! This man lives in my neighborhood but I don't personally know him! He should have to pay the consequences but he should also be forgiven. I believe that if you have never done anything wrong, or if your perfect...then go ahead and throw those stones!

Sure he can be forgiven. But first he must atone behind a 6X9 foot cell for about 5 years. Then he must start paying back all the money he stole from those greedy fools.

Yes, there are consequences to every choice we make in life. He will serve his time I'm sure and the main one's that will suffer are his children. I'm praying for ALL!

You know he is opening a New store out at the 27 by-pass next to Pioneer Ford? And building a new Insurance and Realty office for Ty and Allison right next door. He is looking bad though. I wonder if he is sick?

I hope everyone does not believe that edwards could do this all by himself! There was a Jap
who stayed at his house 24/7 on the computer everyday hooking people from as far away as Japan, china, India, Russia and all over the United States. There are a lot more than what is being told.
I hate that this happen to his family and children, and God only knows what they are going through. Some time ago, he donated 100,000 to the church and later requested the money back, and I don't recall if he was able to get the money back from the church.

You are absolutely right about Edwards not 'doing this' by himself! The way I feel about it is like Jesus said, "If any one of you have never sinned then you can throw the first stone!" You need to be praying for these people instead talking about them. I guess though that it must make you feel better about yourself to talk about someone else. Yes I believe what happened is wrong and anyone involved should have to pay the consequences. But each one of you need to realize that there are innocent children involved so you need to keep your mouths shut!

The only ones that need prayers are his victims. He should have thought about his kids when he was doing his scamming.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Cancer

The nurturing Moon continues to move through your eleventh house of friends and associates, possibly bringing a mentor into your life. There is always much wisdom that can be gained by observing the lives of others; you can avoid certain mistakes by watching them made by others. In this case, you may be faced with financial or sexual issues as Jupiter shakes things up in your eighth house of sex, money, and power... if the stakes are high, you need to think twice.
