Supermarket recalls tainted ground beef

Full story: Brattleboro Reformer

New Hampshire health officials are advising residents to take part in a beef recall after one person has died and two others became ill after eating contaminated ground beef.

Ok we have been checking our freezer and we cannot find the "Each package carried the number "EST. 492" inside the USDA inspection mark or on the nutrition label. " Nothing shows this on the labels and what is written is hard to read due to small print.
This needs better verification. and clarification.
price Chopper needs to step up to the plate and put better codes that are readable for the public.
