I am not certain that I understand how Rey Canton's ex-wife and family are to blame for the FBI taking Rey to trial for the solicitation of a minor for sex over the internet.
Did the ex-wifes family set this up? If so why did Rey Canton take the bait in such a manner that the FBI are prosecuting him?
How could anyone be held responsible for Rey's behavior but himself? If I understand right he has a docterate and is no intellectual dummy, so why
would he actually fall for such a scam?
I have been reading this blog and it is strange that the accused is blaming someone totally unrealted to himself and the event he is being prosecuted by the FBI.
This reads more like psychological projection (blame shifting-scapegoating) than it does anything else. Has this Rey Canton person had a psych evaluation? Generally psychological rule of thumb is the one spinning and accusing is the one guilty of the his own accusations.
It will be interesting to see how this one turns out, but I think to draw in people of Rey Cantons past as having somehow activated the FBI into trapping Rey is ridiculous and utterly erroneous at best.

Christina Canton, a/k/a 'Not Spun" in Colorado Springs...if you want to post to this site you really should invest in a dictionary first...and get your facts straight as well.
First, it is spelled "doctorate".
Second, the FBI does not prosecute anyone. They investigate, hence the "Investigation" part of their moniker.
Chris, you know nothing of this case, yet you and your family insist on posting to this site, making all sorts of crazy allegations about the status of the matter. You know nothing. You just desperately need to be involved in some type of activity that satisfies your own twisted feelings of inadequacy. You think it makes you a person of importance if those around you think you have inside knowledge of this case. Dumping on Rey is your way of making yourself feel better about the awful person you are - one who lies about others in order to get attention for herself, like the poor guy you falsely accused of rape - you milked that for years before finally confessing. You do these things in order to get sympathy from folks who actually have happy and fulfilled lives.
For your information, Rey is not posting to this site. People who know him are. You included. He is not guilty of this crime, which is proven by the fact that almost 2 years after the arrest he is still at home with his family, not in jail, not on probation, no trial, no plea. Men who get busted for this crime typically go to trial within 2-3 months and a quick conviction is all but guaranteed. Not so with Rey. As yourself why.

Finallly, Christina, you and your family are continually being brought into this exchange because you keep inserting yourselves into it. Stop playing the victim, as you always do. If you do not want to written about, stop writing about others.

Do you really think that it is appropriate for you to behave this way? Is it Christian? Some day, your children may google their father and this is the kind of thing they may find. There is more damning commentary about you on this site than Rey. For once, think about how your actions impact your kids. Be a mother, for heaven's sake. Put your babies above your vendetta.
