Hi, there are new laws for colorado adoptees. Please read this, and
Sign up with the State registry. Some years are open for the adoptees to get a copy of their orig birth cert.

Brief Summary of Access to Adoption Records:
Adoption Finalization Date Access Conditions
Prior to July 1, 1951 Mutual consent or court order
(NOTE: AIS/CTC has received word that courts are also beginning to grant access to records for adoptions finalized before 1949 based on wording in the new Court of Appeals Case. See related FAQ under Adoption Records.)

July 1, 1951 - June 30, 1967 Direct access for the adoptee

July 1, 1967 - September 1, 1999 Mutual consent or court order

September 1, 1999 - present Direct access for most adoptees

Also sign up on www.isrr.org
and
write to me if you have questions.

Here is the link for the State registry.

You can sign up and if both parties are on there, you can be reunited.

I wonder if other states are also changing? I tried to find my sister years ago and had to postpone the search. The people who do searches professionally charged to much for me, at that time anyway, and having three children didn't allow me to travel to Ohio and start on my own.

Nice of you to post this info, I will check and see if anything has changed in Ohio. I actually went to the Issr.org site about a week ago and, unless I am mistaken, this was, and has been the main site to register for reunions for many years. I think it was the one I went to in 1990. I didn't stay long but it seemed to be kinda cluttered up with advertisements and such.

If you have any additional sites that might help I would appreciate it.

I just went to that site. It is not the same one I went to the other week. What is the biggest reunion registry now? It seems that a lot of the google results claim they are all the largest.

Hi, www.isrr.org doesn't have ad's. if you typed the issr is the wrong place, and has all ads.
Also check at www.registry.adoption.com See if she is listed there.
Ignore the ads.
We have a Free search and support, never a fee for anything.
We have search angels that help, and support and databases.

www.isrr.org is the oldest, and out of Nevada.(30+ years)

and on line free is www.registry.adoption.com

And ohio probably has a state registry you can as a sibling sign up on.

You can sign up on all the above listed.

Daily Horoscope for June 18

Scorpio

You're in a nicely emotional and loving mood today, and you'll be happiest if you can be with some of the special people in your life for at least part of the day. You don't have to do anything terribly special when you're together, either, because simply sharing a relaxing meal or watching television together will be enough. If you get talking, the conversation will turn to confidences and secrets.
