I think the anitols was her misspelling, or typo with hands on wrong keys, of "initials."

The DNA is a clue that adds a person to the mix - and opens new possibilities. It's important because it opens a new path that might lead somewhere.
I do not believe - yet- that it is entirely exculpatory of anyone. It bolsters the Ramsey story, and we should allow for the possibility out of fairness, and it brings nearly all of the serious suspects back into the "whodunnit" possibility discussions. That is a blow for the innocent suspects, which most would be innocent if only one to three people had an active role in this crime. The crime scene appeared to be staged to some extent, which means someone may have been called by a Ramsey(s) for an SOS, arrived at the Ramsey home to assist with the staging. That could account for the DNA. Or not at all, and someone else who knew family extremely well did it, since all roads lead back to that note, which for now, keeps leading me back to Patsy. The note, and the fact that the Ramseys did not act as most people would think a parent would in wanting to find a killer and to go to the police station and talk day and night to find killer. One concern would be that this DNA may have been left by someone undressing JB post-mortem for official investigative reasons or was at the morgue, and that this person wasn't on paperwork record for having done this, and not excluded although DA Office said they were careful. A morgue photographer, or someone creepy curious about the sexual assault wanting to tell friends all he/she saw, or wanting to get photos and sell them to other creepoids and left DNA? Or someone at the party bends over, mouth open, and assists a living JB who asked people to help her with longjohns. The commingling of blood and saliva - if this description I read here often is true - may or may not rule that out possibility should that be not possible if dried saliva or blood reactivated as wet if one or the other had dropped on top. I hope her body was never left unattended for five seconds before the evidence process began. The Death: As for the killing, I don't think a family member was awake enough to have a molestation session, so I'm not with that theory. It was late at night, with everyone exhausted after an early wake-up on Christmas Day, a late party just ended, a party they had hosted just Christmas Eve, a plane to board early and some packing to do, which leads me to the accident theory if Ramseys did it. JB was half-asleep when she arrived home. Later, maybe she wets her pants again, mom tries to bathe her so child won't smell like urine in the plane. Or maybe mom wants child to go potty before bed and to change clothes. Child is sleepy, resists, jerks away from mom or fights a bit with her arms, Patsy is tired, irritable, shoves JB and child cracks head on round corner of bathtub. Parent believes child is dead. One or both stage crime, out of concerns of being thought a "bad parent" or charged with unintentional death. A fake psycho stalker is then fabricated. Chronic abuse: It's possible that this can be true based on a coroner's learned opinion, AND still be a false lead as to reason of JB's death that night. Maybe the abuse, if happened, wasn't by a family member in the home that night.(Past abuse could have been from playing doctor with child friends, a creepy neighbor or grandfather-type, an adult leader of kid clubs or lessons.) The sexual abuser, assuming there is one, may not have had anything to do with the death itself. The parents could have staged an accident and a cover up and both or one been shocked to hear of the abuse report. JB may have been that unlucky. These are my thoughts in this case so far. I don't like to make declarative statements until or unless an official arrest is made with a confession or new evidence that makes puzzle pieces fall together perfectly. I lean to the Patsy theory, but won't say as some will that this IS how it happened. |

One other thought. I'm uncomfortable with stating names of other suspects that aren't Ramseys, since they are public persons and opinions about guilt/not guilty have been bantered about for 12 years.
But I'm curious about one or two Ramsey friends and hope some of you have the info. I don't see much written about the friend who took photographs, knew the Ramseys in Atlanta, knew them in Boulder, and had a falling out with Patsy after the crime. I know the name, but am reluctant to put it here for others to google it, since she may have been investigated, DNA taken, and thoroughly cleared. Since she was seeing a person romantically that the Ramseys knew (a lawyer, I think?), and this male was going through a separation or divorce, were both of these people tested for DNA? Money would be an issue at the time for both. The 118k while pocket change for some Ramsey friends, would have made a life-changing difference to other Ramsey friends or employees. I also assume that people working at JR's business and not wishing the trail to lead there - reason for protecting the business in ransom note - would have been interviewed? That JR's former mistress from his first marriage was fully out of the picture and he did not have a new affair interest at work who may have been angry? Has that been checked? The friend would know of fat cats, would know of John's past, and so could someone at Access Graphics. Or a mistress. I hear that some men and women ignored while a husband and wife is sick long-term to begin an affair for attention and a need for sex? Was there a waiting list for people to get into the experimental program Patsy had been in where she flew each month for treatment? If so, did anyone check out that angle? Could someone with a sick child wanting to get in the same cancer program as Patsy get the idea that her child died because the Ramseys had money and could have used it to get into the cancer program? Is that a avenue that has been investigated? There may not have been a waiting list at all, so the point could be moot. But a person who lost a child may have wished out of revene for Patsy to know what it felt like not to have a daughter at Christmas. Aside from all of those questions, I tend to lean to the accidental death and staging theory. |
Lucyd Check out Forums For Justice and it will answer your question. The lawyer you speak of currently has a book out which is published ONLY in Japan, but you can read the first Chapter on FFJ and it is very very interesting. He pulls no punches. |

Thanks. I'll try to read the post today, or find the book.

Lucyd is thinking of Judith Philips. She's now married to shady lawyer Tom Miller. Both those characters are massive subjects in the Rasmey case. They have both been discussed endlessly on the JonBenet forums for years.
Judith Philips, and her former husband, who I think was called Mal, used to live in Atlanta. Judith's former husband Mal used to know Patsy in Atlanta prior to that Judith Phillips marriage. By a strange coincidence they all moved to Boulder. There is a story that Judith Phillips and her former husband Mal and JonBenet went on holiday to California once prior to JonBenet's murder. To cut a long story short, Judith Phillips has an alibi for the JonBenet murder, in that she was in Chicago with her parents that Christmas JonBenet was murdered. I don't know any alibi for Tom Miller. After the JonBenet murder, I think Judith Phillips behaved abominably to Patsy. She signed those long boring letters from Fleet White accusing the Ramseys, which were sent to the Governors of Colorado. Judith Phillips was involved with a photo scam with a National Enquirer journalist called South in the Stephen Miles court case. She told Mame on Boulder radio in about 1999 some cock and bull story about Patsy having a boyfriend. It's true that Tom Miller has recently written an anti-Ramsey book which is published in Japanese. Judith has always been very keen to get that book published. It strikes me they can't publish it in English because Lin Wood would come down on them like a ton of bricks. Lin Wood has mentioned the possibility of 'defendant' anti-Ramsey lawyer Wendy Murphy, in the past. Judith Phillips is 'Cookie' on Forums for Justice. This is a bit of background chat about Judith Phillips from the Steve Thomas deposition in 2001: 14 Q. Take a look, if you would, at 15 page 45 of your book. Second -- actually, 16 first full paragraph. "An acquaintance said 17 that JonBenet was rebelling against appearing 18 in the child beauty contests. She was being 19 pushed into the pageants by her mother and 20 grandmother, said the witness." Who is that 21 individual? 22 A. I believe that was Judith 23 Phillips. 24 Q. Did you find Judith Phillips to be 25 credible? 303 1 A. At times. 2 Q. At times she was not credible? 3 A. No, I think Judith Phillips, like 4 many others in Boulder, were devastated by 5 this crime and she had tough moments, I'm 6 sure. 7 Q. Do you think John and Patsy Ramsey 8 had tough moments because they would have 9 been devastated by the death of their 10 daughter? 11 A. They certainly may have. |

Can't find the book Lucyd. It is not published here; only in Japan. The first chapter is published or portions of it. If only it were. Publishers are very reluctant to touch this subject, as Ramsey sues anything that moves. That is surprising to me, because Wendy Murphy, prosecutor has a book out and she has made no bones about who she thinks killed JonBenet and that there is sexual abuse in the home. Why some are concerned about it and some are not, I don't understand. But the book is not out here. |

And lets not forget that Cyrill Wecht comes right out also and says it was incest and a sexual killing. Andrew Hodges in his two books, which I have and was not impressed by the books, but it is interesting how he analyzes the pictures of Patsy and JB. But he also literally tells Patsy to confess.
I don't believe he was sued. So I am not sure what the story is. Why some get sued, and others do not. But then again Lyn Wood did leave a threatening phone call on Wendy Murphy's answering service telling her to basically shut her mouth or they would sue her. She, the next day, came on tv and told the world about it. If more people did that, I think more books would be published. Because Wendy is not silent and never has been and outed L. Wood for his threats on Fox TV. |

which tells me that L. Wood is not the brightest person leaving a voice mail. So one does not need a bright lawyer to defend you if you are guilty, but you DO NEED A LOT OF MONEY and a semi - intelligent lawyer - that would be L. Wood.

Thanks for all of the updates and background. I had a late night and work, and did not have a chance to check back until this morning.
I assume Tom Miller also had an alibi. |
Assume nothing in a murder case. That's where the Boulder cops went wrong in the Ramsey case. |
|
Tom Miller is a lawyer and handwriting analyst. He got ahold of the ramsey note and analyzed it, I believe saying Patsy did it. He was sued by the Ramseys, if sued is the right word, or arrested for getting ahold of evidence. He went on trial and fought it and was acquitted. He has since went on to write his book and it was released in Japan. The Japanese apparently want to read about how justice was not served in this case. I understand the book is also about how the Ramseys bought their freedom. If I am wrong about this, forgive me. But I think it is about right. |
