I read an article with the same topic, but it wasn't anti-gay. Even without the spin, the underlying story is the same. There's a problem, and it needs to be addressed. We can't just turn a blind eye to it and pretend it doesn't exist for fear of being biased.

The problem is that misinformation and hyperbole travel far faster and farther than facts and reason. Which is why we can get a hate-filled rant such as this one based on less than complete information as found in your Reuters article and not hear the corrections that inevitably follow...
