Blame that on good ol boy politics and chiefs with no back bone or chiefs that are that bad apple Agree, It seems they pull certain ones over. Did anyone hear about the report of disturbance on c r 121 in union county ms. They were pulling people over in town. May have been a prank call they need to get the person who called in it.

I try to wear my all the time, & if I don't one day & I do get a ticket, I will go to court & pay it. But along w/ my $$ for the fine, I will have pictures of officers as well the chief not wearing their seatbelt. How can you enforce a law that even the chief doesn't abide by?

Zane, you say driveing is a previlege, not a right. Well I work and pay taxes, taxes help build our roads etc, therefore, hell yes, its a right! You have been brainwashed by crooked politicans as most ppl have. Then they say it{seat belt law}is for public safety. Another lie! They could care less whether you or I died in an auto accident. Its all just to raise revenue! If its to save lives, then educate ppl, why give a ticket? Is that ticket going to save my life? No. There are way too many laws on the books as it is anyway, and more are being made everyday, most to raise money for the state and crooked politicans to line their pocket. This country is no longer a free society, freedom is only an illusion.

Because as usual there are two sets of laws, one for citizens and one for law enforcement. Just like the tinted window law, its okay for law enforcement and emergency vechiles to have dark tinted windows. Why? How is it different for them? The cops lobbied jackson saying it made their job dangerous because they couldnt see who was in a vechile when they pulled it over, well, I get nervous too when Im pulled over for whatever reason, afterall, the cop has a gun on his waiste, how do I know he aint going to go crazy or something? See what I mean, to make laws on ordinary citizens is one thing, but that law should apply for ALL!

Another law passed unto citizens. I wish I could form a business and have the state pass a law that required its citizens to purchase my product. Again, crooked politicans!

I lost my job of 25 years due to company closeing. I made 22 dollars an hour, now Im slanging burgers, trying to feed my family and make morgage payments, by the end of it all, Im lucky to have 15 dollars left, yet I have to pay auto insurance. Thank jackson gives a damn? Hell no. Its pathetic. Do you know how this all really got started? Some stupid politican in jackson got rear ended by someone who had no insurance, then he begin writeing a law--which, not surpriseinly, had the full support of insurance companies. Like I stated b4, which I had a business that the state would require all its citizens to buy my product, and of course, set my prices how I see fit. Jackson and the insurance companies have long been bed buddies, and it looks like their relationship will continue.

Why should seatbelts be forced to be worn? It should be a personal choice however law enforcent seen another way to make money. They are as bad as the casinos or worse. At least a person can say no i am not playing that extra coin at casinos.

You look at ppl who live in trailor parks or mobile homes differnt then those who live in fine brick homes, you look at the guy or gal with tats and peirceing differently then those who dont have them, you look at blacks differently then whites, you look at the guy in a ole beat up truck/car differently then the one in a new auto. Sorry guy, you get no pity from me. Find it amuseing that you had to put in there that you went to church, does that automaticaly make one a better person?

Dont break the law and they wont ticket you! Now buckle up and have a great day! Oh and by the way, if you were driving drunk, do you think they shouldnt stop you because it is a free country??? go figure!!!! driving is a privilege not a right!!!
