Dr. Banks is a bigger quack than a 10 foot duck.

Dr.Banks is the unite dr. and he has no time for regular patients. As said before in -n- out with him and if you toke you will never get pain med's no matter how many clean piss tests you provide. There are better choices.

Why don't you try some doctors in Jackson, Breathitt?

Dr. Banks is terrific person. But, I do think he has a short attention span.I think one of the problems with the clinic in Booneville is that the parent agency is too interested in making money and not sufficiently interested in treating sick people. The agency puts constraints on the practice of medicine. The mid-eastern doctors who were here before Dr. Banks were absolutely great doctors. One never forgot a name. If he saw you in Booneville, he called you by your name. He was remarkable.Dr. Banks is a fair doctor...and is improving as he goes. You could try him and form your own opinion.

Better choices for health care than an M.D.?? You dope heads is why truely sick people can't get to see some other medical providers...he is an example of what professionals do....they do not contribute to peoples problems they try to solve them. Good Job Dr. Banks!

I love the Family Practice Clinic. Although, you sometimes have to wait awhile in the lobby the staff are always kind. They always try to make you feel comfortable. Just last week while there, one of them could tell that I wasn't feeling well and asked me if they could fix me some coffee, they did and packed it to me. They also brought my son a pop to drink and gave him stuff to play with while I was being seen. I will wait anyday of the week. For the treatment I receive while visiting there. Oh I was also one of Dr. Hurm's patients and I made the right choice. Besides as high as gas is who would want to drive to Jackson. Besides if you do you get more of those just like Dr. Banks. Thats just not for me.

I am higly impressed w/ Dr. Banks and the professional services that are provided by him and his staff. We are lucky to have people like him in our community. He is caring, understanding, and respects his patients privacy. He is highly respected by his peers and other health care providers for his professionalism. His "country doctor" approach makes him easy to talk too and he is very knowledgable about medicine and treatments as his profession requires.

He is very professional, patient friendly and helpful, ethical and has integrity. It is good to have a medical doctor and nurse practioner in the same building who work good together.

If you are seeing Dr Banks to get narcotics you better have proof you have pain.He is not a Dr to just give what you want,he is a good dr if he dont know what is the problem he will send you to a specialist. He will ask you where you want to go,he dont send you to Jackson Dr.'s.He does have a quiet personality he only says what he has to,dont talk much but will help you.

Ok dont get me started about nurse practitioners,Darlene is nice and easy to talk to,unlike Kim McIntosh she needs to get her mind on her patients and not her cheating husband,I have some family that sees her and have always complained about her and how her staff never get anything done,She was supposed to have a mammogram set up for me and I called for 3 days to get them to set it up,I just started going to Dr Banks he gave me a referrel that day for a mammogram.Nobody wants t wait on something like that especially if you have something wrong, just bad business. If she needs to call your medicine in it takes her forever to call it in.

You people get on here and say all of these things about people and have no idea what you are talking about. I am a patient of Kim's and will always be. Do you know why it took 3 days for her to get you a Mammogram, or your precious drugs. "Because she has 3 times the patients that Dr Banks and that wanna be has." I have watched her staff from the lobby work as hard as they possibly could to keep up due to the supply and demand. There have been days when every chair in the lobby was filled and people were standing along the walls. I have seen Dr. Banks in the past and the lobby was always totally empty and no one was in the exam rooms either. You want to talk about someones marital problems on here. Are you STUPID or just pretend to be. Have you never had marital or family problems, don't throw stones. Haven't you ever been to a specialist and had to wait a month to get a follow-up appointment. I worked in an Dr. Office once a point a time, and I know the stresses which go along with it. So until you walk in their shoes Get a Life!!!!!!
