Jesse Arnold Hodges. Because now I know what he was trying to teach me all those years, and I didn't listen. I wish I could just talk to him one more time, and tell him "now I get it, now I understand, thank you, and I'm sorry"...

I just lost my mom in July of this year. Every day i think of her in different ways and always follow with tears flowing down my cheeks from missing her and knowing she is in a better place. She was not only my mother but she was my very best friend in the whole world. I still have her cell number on my cell and her home number that i call several times a week just because it makes me feel close to her...what can i say..I loved my MOM

I miss so many that has passed on. But, I guess my grandparents are who I miss the most. I love them so much. Things just change when you lose your grandparents..the holidays mostly. My fondest memories are of being at their house. A part of you feels gone when they pass on. I think of both sets of grandparents everyday...the love a grandparent gives is a love like no other. I hope that I am just half the grandparent that mine were...when it is my turn to be a grandparent. Let's hope it is a LONG time. LOL!

I lived on a little dead end street in Bonnieville when I was young. There were a number of older folks who were my neighbors, and were always so kind, and taught me so much about life.
They spent time talking with me about thier lives and the history that they had personally witnessed.
While they have all passed on now, I can't tell you what I would give, to be able to talk to them again, and tell them each, what thier friendship and time, meant to me. I was just a kid, but they always made time for me.

I know that Bonnieville has and has had, it's issues, but I can't imagine a better place to grow up, than the one that I had.
After all these years, I can still taste Mrs. Hazel Ferris's chocolate-peanut butter fudge!!
I've never tasted anything like it since.

I miss my mother who will be gone from this earth 2 years on December 6th. She was my mom and my best friend. Always remember you only have one mother. So always obey her, love her and cherish her always. Even if you have never met your mother, it doesn't mean she doesn't think of you everday!

I miss Keith too. He was a great guy.. I have a lot of memories of him tho like when he taught line dancing at bonnieville school. I was only like 10 or 11, he was really good with us kids in bonnieville, I guess that one of my best memories i have of him.

I miss my papaw. Thomas Highbaugh. I was only 3 when he died and all of my cousins have great stories of him, b/c they are all older then me and got to actually meet him and hang out with him, when I didn't. My mom has a picture of him holding me w/ my bottle in his arms and we are both sound asleep. and everytime I look that pic. I just want to sit down and ball my eyes out, b/c i miss him so much and i miss that i didn't get the opportunity to get to sit down and get to know him or anything. Even tho i didn't know him. I miss him Dearly and I know that one day i will be able to see him and talk to him. I miss you pop-a-top. (thats what we called him.)

My Aunt Hazel Ferris. I loved that woman so much. She was the same everytime you talked to her. And I agree with Glenn, she made the best candy in the world. She was everybody's friend, "and she never talked bad about anyone". We miss you "McGee".
