This story made me cry - for the boy who thought he had no other choice, to compassion of the men who saw a need and acted. Hopefully, the boy will get the help he needs. Thank you to the men who got outside themselves to help save a young life.

Awesome job! I hope that the teen realizes that he has been given a 2nd chance. Nothing is worth giving up your life! You need to face things head on and in order to do that...you must be alive.

As a former school counselor, mom who lost a son to suicide, and support group facilitator for families who have lost loved ones to suicide it is most important that we provide students and parents information. Unfortunately, suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for students 10-24 yrs. of age. The more information we can provide through community awareness, education, resources the more understanding people will have. Our hope is the stigma that surrounds suicide will be reduced. It is an illness that can be prevented.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aries

In recent weeks you've been quite concerned about a loved one, and things are likely to come to a head as Mercury turns in your mid-heaven. You may be able to solve the problem simply, which will be a relief all round, but there's a chance that you may have to do some serious thinking or get some expert advice before you know exactly what your next step should be. You may have to take official action of some kind.
