Hello and thank you for all your postings.. I have a nephew who is in Bonne Terre...another inmate swung on him infront of a C O..so ofcourse he had to defend himself..he is now in the hole and they are telling him he will be in there for atleast 90 days..makes no sense.....he has also been ill...and they will not give us any info on his condition...I am going to contact ACLU today...thanks to the former prison for your input...

Quick question? How is it that my ex just got sent there and he can call anytime he wants? He blows my phone up at all hours of the day? I finally called and got him blocked from my phone, but I don't understand how they are letting him call so much.

The reason he is allowed to call so much is because he is in a general population housing unit. They gave access to phones as long as they are out for open wing recreation. You can also contact the center and explain that he is harassing you and they have ways of stopping that..

My name is shauny my ex is in prison at bonne terre before he left he cheated on me with another girl and a prositute the reason why im writing this is because I dont know what to do should I be there for him or just let him be I wrote him a horrible letter calling him names and talked about him bad then a week later they transfered him from the honor center to bonne terre I feel bad for writing him the letter but if he wouldve gotten locked up I wouldnt found out about the other two women I hearing things I really dont know about bonne terre and im trying to figure out how long he got

i think it is very sad when young kids go to prison. and anybody that thinks it is funny is a nut. and have done things thier lives that would put them in prison if they would have got caught.him without sin cast the first stone

All I can say is do your best not to get locked up. The treatment in there will never change, just do your part to stay out here or stop b*tching when you get put in time out for whatever reason. Child support, murder, forgery...I don't care. Should have been smarter than to be locked away. There are so many people out here that get beaten, starved, tortured, innocent babies even and no one is feeling sympathy for them. Get your heads strait people!

They tell us that he is using his stamps to write the judge which is bullsh*t because I know him better than that. They will not tell us anything. My brother is now 5'9 and weighs 111lbs. I know something is going on in that prison but don't know what. Can someone please help me. I can send my email out so we don't have to dicuss it on this forum. Please I'm desparate. You need to make contact with Paul Fitzwater our state rep. My brother was also abused in this prison, they also was starving him. We couldn't find out where he was either they told us the same things that he didn't want our letters and it wasn't true. Act quickly
