He's a fat jolly old man, I have to give him that, but no sense of direction. He needs to stop talking. He makes no sense.

Tell none of you actually know the man. He is a good man, very well educated, and has all the qualifications to do this county a great job. We need new blood and someone that will actually work for the schools, and not let JW run the show.
He must have ED scared, because of all the lies ED is telling about him. Shut up, listen and keep your eyes open. If you care anything for our schools (which you should), you will vote for Terry Mears, and get all your family and friends to vote for him. AND by the way, I am not Terry, nor his wife, family or his friend. I am a person that cares for our schools, the children and the staff.

I read his statements in the Holmes County paper, and he makes perfect sense. His qualifications far outweigh those of his opponent. I have never met either man, but I, among many others, know there needs to be some major housecleaning. Mr. Mears sounds like a man who can do just that. I don't think you're gonna shut him up either.

This is what kills me with Holmes County..instead of looking at the qualifications its all about who's pocket you are in! If you actually looked and listened to his qualifications you would see he does make sense, but then again you probably don't have the intelligence to even understand. I would much rather have a "fat, jolly old man" than a fat, rude, bully any day of the week. Terry Mears keep up the good work.

I read his qualifications and then I checked out the "university" he said he attended. Think I'll buy myself a masters degree also. You just have to tell them how much life experience you have and send them a check. Give them a few days and your diploma will be in the mail.

If mears gets it will the Jones and all the other PDL folks stop running the schools? Or will Jean West still really be the head BOSS? And the Jones??? Will things go back to who's most qualified or will it be the same crap and good ole buddy system? I want to vote for the man who will be a man!

I dont know anything about Terry Mears, but I do know about the men in Bonifay who are stirring the pot and spreading lies and causing an uproar in order to make ED look like a loser and the fact that Terry Mears seems to be supporting these men and their efforts has caused me to believe I DO NOT want that type of man in any office especially dealing with my children..... period...... I will not be voting for Mears and do not want any part of anyone who thinks its ok to try to win an election the way he and his "supporters" are doing... its a shame and disgrace to be associated with any of them

There's no pot being stirred here. No lies. Facts are facts, and sometimes the truth hurts, I guess. Mr. Mears is the most qualified. Teachers are the backbone of the educational system, and he has been a teacher for many years. His qualifications, which were listed in the Holmes County newspaper, are impressive. He is an honest to goodness EDUCATOR. My, what a concept!!!

Go to the Dept of Edication State Website....look under "Certification"....T ype in "Billy E. Dixon"...this is EDDIE.....See if he has a Principal Certification for the job he holds and is being paid a handsome salary. Then go look up ALL the other Principals in the county at the same website --- THEY HAVE THE CERTIFICATION.....why can he have a Principal's job at the largest High School in the county WITHOUT a Principal's certification????? It's not a RUMOR if it can be verified is it? ED and his camp are the ones spreading LIES and RUMORS! How come he is listed as Billy E. Dixon and not Eddie.....reckon he WANTS it to be hard to find???????

He's not listed as Eddie because..........let's see..........hmmmmmm.......... well, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, ummmmm..........maybe, just maybe, stay with me here..........his LEGAL NAME IS BILLY E. Now, while we're here, let's discuss all this education that Mr. Mears has, and the fact that he is an "honest to goodness educator." What teaching certificate does he hold? What degrees did he earn?

I can put an ad in the newspaper and claim to be the King of Spain, but it doesn't make it true.

Mr. dixon went by eddie in school k thur 12, he is not hiding anything you are just trying to start some BS!!!

What I see is that I can't find a teaching certificate for the "honest-to-goodness teacher."

Because Terry is Certified by the US Government, not the State of Florida!!!!!

ALL the other Principals in Holmes County have Principal Certification EXCEPT Eddie Dixon aka Bily E. Dixon!!!!!!

And to be elected Superintendent, you don't have to be a certified teacher.......you ONLY have to be a High School Graduate!!!
