Transportation infrastructure alone has increased at an immense pace and is the life-blood of the growth of business within a state—Deeds has at least been honest with the citizens of the Commonwealth about the cost of this—-McDonnel’s answer is to rob the General (Emergency) Fund for tranportation.-2012—How much are you willing to bet (5,10,15%) this will work??

Maybe the women-folk should stay home bare-foot and pregnant and waiting on their men-folk hand and foot (As McDonnel Suggested) and we wouldn’t need all these Transportation Costs.

Are you really naive enough to believe state construction could continue and McDonnell will not raise taxes? Read my lips—-
Maybe You should educate yourself a little more on the NAACP,it's founders and what would be gained by having a Gov. McDonnell in their pocket--

There are some country boys who believe that the government is the answer to virtually all problems. There are many more that would rather die than lose their freedom to choose for themselves what is best for their families. Big government is invasive, oppressive and expensive. For Deeds, it has been an escape from poverty. For most of us it is becoming the highway to mediocrity. I can't endorse anyone on an appeal to pity like the one in this article. I'm sure Mr. Deeds means well, but I don't trust a 'victim' to be a good leader.

And you are showing your naivete'...Can you let go of the past? You probably believed Clinton when he said"I did NOT have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky" too. Have you EVEN been to college? If you have, then you know that thesis papers are written to the subject and professor's bent. Would his daughters have become successful women professionals otherwise?

Yes, Doh---I have been to college. You? I have also worked as a Trans. Engineer for VDOT for 32 years--What is your experience in Transportation?
Driving a Taxi doesn't count.
A students thesis subject is chosen by the student in his field of study--It is not written nor judged on whether it agrees with nor accepts the professor's ideas. Was sucking-up and polishing an Apple for the teacher your plan and theory to improve grades?? Believe as you choose and either way I hope for the best for our Great State of Virginia

—I will compare Virginia’s record of prosperity, progress, Being voted the most business-friendly state, maintaining a AAA rating in this economy and being voted the Best-Managed State again this year against any state in this Union—-
. All this with the record this State has achieved during 8 years Democrat Govenors in control.
That in itself tells your true reason for being on this forum and to whom you have sold your soul and moral values—

Master's Degree plus. Typical elitist attitude: disparage those of a lesser economic standing. Do you look down on all of us lesser beings?
BTW, working for VDOT tells us a lot. Talk about government WASTE. Why does it take seven people to put up a sign, but we can't get our roads paved? Seems to be too much "administration" at your place of work.

Is that why teacher salaries have been frozen for the last 2 years all over the state? Because the democratic governors did such a great job? Counties are having to tighten their belts because they did such a great job? Warner and Kaine have shown true colors, as both have spent much of their time working on the "Next Big Step" Senator!!!. enjoy your fantasy world.

As a state employee,my salary has also been frozen--But thousands across the U.S. have NO job. Our families have to tighten our belts so I see no reason counties should not have to--

You now have a Govenor who is being touted and groomed for a White House run--With this prize in his sight how much time do you think he will devote to Virginia? This State is simply a 'stepping-stone' toward his real GOP plan

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
