How about it, GPM. Still convinced this is a guy who wants to learn more????

This is why I gave up on frank. He tells lies and wonders why he isn't taken seriously.

Yeah Yeah yeah I know life member , 100 guns yadda yadda. You sound like a child at show and tell Frank. I don’t care if you’re the curator of the Quantico armory. You’re a phony!$20grand and a T-shirt doesn’t make me a biker either. If you are an instructor those kids are in BIG trouble.(Educate? Don’t you mean indoctrinate?) I highly doubt it though. I think you’ve fluffed up your credentials, if you want to call it that, just so you could come on here spewing your BllSht. What you are is narcissistic. That is more dangerous than anything. You really believe that your are a more suitable gun owner than any of these good folks? They don’t want to fight with you, don’t flatter yourself. Only you have presented yourself as an “I know better than you” asshole. You have been put in your place dozens of times, and you can’t deal with it. So what better way than to flip it back on them (Just like they taught you at the Nancy Pelosi school of How to Destroy America), as the “crazy” gun owners (But not you right Frank? After all you’re a life member ;).. Take your BullSht and sell it somewhere else. The smartest thing you have said to date is “I’m leaving goodbye”. Why don’t you do just that?

highlander---lets try this again.. do you think going out in public waveing a machine gun or rifle takeing those guns to a political rally is a good idea.. now please please please try answering my question not just reading into my post which you are doing my post agree with you 90% of the time accpet i am a respectful thinking person an dyou want to be seen and start a fight. why strir things up. if they try takeing our guns then go out and fight but why force them into trying to take our guns. now try answering ok.
Why do you think that we need to self-limit ourselves on exercising our rights? I believe in know. I saw it a lot when I lived in the South bad in the60's and early 70's. You feel that we have to be good coloreds so the man would have to put us down (for our own good). We dare not drink from his water fountain or go to his restaurants. If we "know our place" we will be left alone. Yep. That worked well... for white folk! Your way works well for the anti-gun morons. Bigotry is bigotry no matter what the subject is. Knuckling under to bigotry to avoid being a problem only works to perpetuate the bigotry. When Rosa Parks decided that she had had enough and dared to sit in the whiteman's area, she did exactly the same thing that those guys who peacefully carried their weapons to the rally.

So, until you open your eyes and see that the NRA's being reasonable is the same as Toby being a good boy and that neither makes Master respect you or gives you any true freedom, you are not on my side. Until you stop saying that "no sane person needs/carries a machinegun", you are not on my side.

As I told you a thousand posts ago, "it is a Bill of Rights, not a Bill of Needs". It does not say that you can exercise your rights so long as no one feels uncomfortable or objects. You have placed yourself into a situation where you have privileges that you willingly allow to be curbed.

I have to wonder about your thinking when you say that people who want to carry machineguns are not sane yet you also say that you will fight and die if the gov't tries to take them away. It sounds like double talk to me. You may think that you are for freedom and the 2nd Amendment, but you are really for allowing the antis to run your life and determine the parameters of your so called rights. I can imaging you on that bus. "Oh no, miss Rosa! You dasn't sit there. Massa gonna be all sorts of mad if'n you do. Please, Miss Rosa. Come back here and sit with us. We gots to be good coloreds or de man will punish us!" I was disgusted with the sell-outs and get-alongs then. I am disgusted with them today. I am equally as disgusted with the bigots and oppressors then and now. We all have natural rights (some say God given) and all men and women are equal and must freely exercise their rights. If we don't, we're still slaves. The 2nd Amendment is not about making sure we do not offend bliss-ninnies, other useless Liberals and assorted scum. It is about being able to exercise the right to remain free - even against our own government when it forgets that it works for us!

Do you even slightly understand what I just wrote?

Kudos for a well written piece. Although I'm not sure the Franks out there either understand or care that they are allowing our rights to be dimished by their cowardice & fawning over the control freaks appearances, now, as non-threatening.

You know something? I can’t stand those types that come on here to just challenge you all with the presentation of “credentials” arsenals or the infamous I’m a LEO therefore I’m more qualified to void the 2ndA than you are or to inform you that they know better than you people.(That’L’be the day!) I have learned a great deal from just reading all your posts, the links you provide, pastes, etc and they are a wealth of information that I find priceless. Not to mention your sarcasm HL! When an asshole like that comes on its like the obnoxious kid in the classroom that is always disrupting the class whilst the rest of us are trying to learn something. I don’t understand why they just can’t come in, read, absorb and decide yes or know without the BS. Don’t like the idea then don’t do it and move on! I don’t have much to say on here, though I try to contribute what I can, when I can, if I can. Other than that I just read and try to keep up with your torrential inputs. I just want you all to know that I can’t thank you enough for your stamina and willingness to teach. Thanks again.

Well, hey, just one thing: We all learn from each other!
.
No one has all the keys of knowledge. And as Newton remarked: "If I have seen far, it is because I have stood upon the shoulders of giants."
.
If I have spoken well, it is because I have read some of the best written expositions which one might be favored with witnessing, and that includes your own contributions.
.
So then, continue fighting the good fight. And remember: The fight never ends. So, fight well, stay sharp, and always be aware.
.
As the U.S. Marines say: Semper Fidelis.
.
To the truth, let us ALWAYS be that!

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Sagittarius

Tension and worry loom large at various times during the day, but it's nothing that will overwhelm you. If you can manage to keep a cool head, your nerves in check and think things through logically, you'll have a relatively smooth day. Children are a source of joy at the moment.
