Cain broke the law constantly in his last race against Scott McDowell. He had to have the police remove him from the early voting place more than once. I expect the same thing when running against Homer. IMO Homer has tried to do more for this area than anyone we've had in my memory.

Please give us some examples of things that Homer has TRIED to do for this area. Really, TRIED is not good enough. We expect him to actually do something. I can't remember anything but I do remember him running and hiding in Oklahoma instead of staying in Austin and tending to business.

I don't understand why it has to be a fight. Why is it a bad thing to let them speak for what they believe in, what they are going to fight for, instead of running each other down.

If I remember right, he knew about eminent domain, and I agree with his stand on that. I agree with his belief on the healthcare situation.

I would like to hear both of their stands on the domestic/human trafficking issue and what they would like to see happen to stop the drug trafficking. If it were up to them, what approach would they take? What information would they seek to make that decision?

What is his belief on the healthcare situation?

I do remember one of his votes that he was proud of. It was helping pass the bill to weaken the animal cruelty laws by giving pit bull owners/breeders/fighters an appeals process when they are charged with animal cruelty. The pit bull owners/breeders/fighters did some heavy lobbying on this bill and it passed.

Cain gets my vote also. Have never met him, but would rather have anyone than what we have. Homer is not the man for the job. He needs to go back to fixing hamburgers. He does not represent us all.

Ok Mr. Inky, start producing and stop running your mouth like you know something. You are just like Homer, talk a lot and no production. Put up or shut up, both of you.

I am hopeful that this election can be decided on issues, merit and a plan for the improvement of District 3.

If Homer can show he has a better plan for the future, he deserves to win, if Cain can he deserves to win. For me it is all about the future, not the past.

Unfortunately, when an incumbent is running, you have to look at their past to see if they have been good for the district or not. Homer has not been good for the district as a whole. Just keeping your name in the paper in your hometown doesn't speak too well.

When things have happened in the past, it would be nice for the guilty one to try to get everyone to look to the future instead of the past. But if we want them to repeat past mistakes they made in office, I guess voting blindly would help the incumbent. I will vote intelligently not forgetting the past due to the possibility the incumbent sees it as a sign that it was okay what he did. Running to Oklahoma did not sit well with most people and I will not put on my blinders when it comes to that. Cain for me.

You make a valid point, however if this District's voters had been paying attention to the past and Mr. Homers voting record and activities, he would not have been re-elected four times. So, when looking at the possible removal of an incumbant, looking back just isnt enough to motivate enough voters to go against the status quo.

I agree with you about the voting blindly helping the incumbant, I believe that has benefitted Mr. Homer a great deal. There are enough good reasons to vote FOR Mr. Cain and to just not vote AGAINST Mr. Homer. The 2010 election will be the toughest challenge he has had so far.

Just as I thought, you do not know s--t. Just another Democrat running your head trying to get stuff started. I know your a demo because like all of you, when confronted to produce or answer a question, you either run off in another direction or ask a question in your response. No I didnt vote for obama or homer and wont ever vote for any Dem. Like you, the Dems have shown their true colors. And by the way I am on top of things and know a lot more than you think. I just dont feel the need to spew it over topix like some of you idiots.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
