Two more charged in Blaine DWI death

I wish everyone would stop commenting on ANY of the people involved. A young person made a very stupid mistake which killed a man and injured others. It doesn't matter what either of these people did in their past. It really makes me sick that people are so quick to make such awful comments. There are friends and family members on both sides who are probably reading this garbage. NO ONE is perfect in this world. No one. Everyone involved, either directly or indirectly, is suffering on some level. Please, just let this girl have her day in court and let this man rest in peace. The situation is tragic enough without all this nonsense going back and forth.

All these people bashing brad his daughter is old enough to type in his name and see what people write. I admit i was in the wrong for saying some of the things i said about the girl that is at fault...i was up set and still am but like you said she will have her day in court and she does have to live with it. Its just hard to believe that its almost going to be a year and people are still talking about like it was yesterday. Not looking forward to the actually day since it was my birthday and the last time we spent time together. You know nothing about him. How could you call someones son and someones father trash without knowing what you are talking about? He was a wonderful and much love person. It is so sick and wrong that people like you are given a platform to say such horrible things that can hurt so many when you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about.

Thats what i was trying to get at....thank you at least there are other people in the world that understand that what people have done in the past don't matter...i was trying to get the point that his daughter is old enough to research stuff like this and read it she doesn't want to rememeber her dad as a bad person she wants to rememeber him as a caring loving person that he was to her. You must have known him it sounds like so like me you know he was good despite what people were saying on here. Love him still to this day i will defend him till the day that i die myself not matter what others say bout him. and i am glad there is other people who will also stick up for him since he can't do it himself

I was in your shoes with brad i met him and he had no place to live. we got an apartment and believe or not he did help with the bills and rent. Granted there was times when he was not a nice and was cold hearted but when i went to the hospital he was the first one there and he stayed with me till i was released. Yes he did have his moments of using people and whatever else you say. But i was seeing him try and change the last month he was alive. He was trying to pay his child support, they were taking it out of his pay checks..i know this cause i cashed a few of his checks myself and i know he was giving sarah money because i put the money in her wells fargo account myself. But yes brad did some bad things...but if you only knew what he did for me the last month he was alive and throughout when we were dating. He paid my cell phone bill put gas in my car and paid my car insurance. I am sorry for what you had gone through with him. me and him had our horrible moments and believe me his brother knows i have talked to him bout it. My mom even had called his dad Paul sr and whatever so yes i have been in your shoes and know exactly what you are going through. My nightmares are bout the day he died more than anything and i am dreading that day cause it was my birthday and it was the best day i had ever had with him. He took me out to dinner and treated me like i was queen. I still have the text he sent me 10 minutes before the accident. everyone is talking bad things bout him its almost been a year everyone has said there bad things now let him rest in peace and whatever.

Angry- It is a very simuliar story to how it was when Brad lived with me. I'm happy that you are a better person than I am and that you are able to hold on to the good things he did do while he was alive. Brad did a FEW things for me that no one else has done and that even I will never forget and will always appreciate. And I am sorry to say that those few good things will never come close to outweighing the bad that he put me through. Paying a few bills here and there doesn't hold to be a good person to me. It's expected as an adult and a member of society. He paid child support now and then when he lived with me as well. And yes, his checks were garnished but not by his choice. He went to court more than once to have it reduced. I have a rare blood disease and was in and out of the hospital for a long time. And yeah, he came and saw me when he felt like it. He did get tested to see if he was a match to be a blood donor for me. But like I said, those things still will never out weigh the bad.

I have to walk away from this. I'm not a bad hateful person that it may appear that I am. I'm a person that had alot of bad things done to me that I'll never fully get over. And if I don't walk away from this now, I'm going to be back in a bad place because of it. Like I said, it sounds like Brad did the same thing when he lived with you that he did when he lived with me. And it probably appears that he was really trying. But things go in circles. I will pray that he did leave this earth being a better person, but my heart will always tell me otherwise.

How dare you judge something that you are completely unaware of the circumstances that surround it!! He was a great man, awesome father, irreplaceable friend! I miss him every minute of every day, and I am beyond disgusted that a drunk driver, who KILLED someone, get to walk away with a slap on the wrist. She is one of many all over the world who should have died, but instead killed defenseless people who deserved the right to live their life like we can. She should have died that night, but how often does that happen? The drunk driver seems to always walk away and leave countless lives in shambles with their careless and selfish acts. Shame on you for judging a man who was and will always be better than you could ever be, because he wouldn't judge a person without knowing all the facts. When you lose someone you love to a stupid drunk driver, and all they get is a DUI or slap on the wrist, then I might feel bad for you.
