It's more than that. The kid was released pending his trial on the sex thing (which alone shows how depraved he was) and the judge, I think, is saying that she ordered him to stay "clean." And he goes and fails a drug test after using marijuana.

Um, did he not know he was going to be tested? Or did he know and just arrogantly think, "Screw it, I wanna get high"? Either way, he was stupid to do something illegal like use drugs while awaiting trial on other charges. I love it when stupid people run afoul of the law.

You are very wrong about Liberals, the only thing that seperates a Liberal from a Republican is the US Constitution. Liberals support the constitution, Republicans do not. Liberal stand here would be, sit his buns in jail till his trial, charge him with drug use, and if guilty of any of these charges, he does the time. When he is done with serving time, send him back to New York, Haiti, or Cuba.

Lost his scolarships? Poor baby, oh please he doesn't deserve them. If this kid had been caught shoplifting then maybe we could overlook his actions. What these kids did to the girls is serious and they need to be corrected before they do some thing more serious in the future. Honestly, I have no sympathy.

The difference between a liberal and conservative is the liberal feels bad for the criminal while the conservative feel bad for the victims. Did you hear the excuses. As far as losing everything for the kid, well, you should have thought about that then. Has ANYBODY thought of what those girls lost and will lose out on for the rest of their lives? Think of them, not this kid, who will most likely be back on the streets and eventually go back to his old ways. But for now somebody is still safe while he is behind bars..........keep him there.

It's primarily because law enforcement has solved every crime, and the state has successfully prosecuted all the criminals and they are all locked up.

That's why these types of cases, along with all the teacher-student relationships are getting so much scrutiny.

So he gets to go home after raping a girl, but he gets jail for smoking a joint?!... This is a prime example of the justice system failing the public on a daily basis.

Ever notice the child molesters after the kill a child? They always have a lengthy record and should have still been in jail. But the judge thought they would do better this time and let them out (after a dozen arrests) so they could find more victims.

ALL in all...South Florida has turned into a giant toilet. I just had enough of crap with this raunchy news night after night. No jobs in sight, people with filthy attitudes, People getting raped, mugged,shot/killed. I never in my life have seen this crap go on with this escalation with no end in sight. Just ask Nancy Pelosi about Freedom of speech as it applies to talk radio .... where in the Constitution is there any mention of equal time for political views?

Campaign finance - where in the Constitution does it say that government has the right to restrict the people on what they can contribute to political campaigns?

Where in the Constitution does it give the Speaker of the House any authority to conduct his/her own foreign policy?
