It was Obama who build all the houses with bad chinese dry wall.
White supremacist moron.
I am Asian so how does your racist comment fit? Do you know what DPRK stands for? I am alot more concerned in the insanity in washington than I am dry wall. Call your parole officer and see if they can help you figure it out.

It appears that GL is stepping up and doing the right thing. It also appears that the homeowners are playing the sympathy card. GL is paying $3000/mo for temporary housing, but the poor owners are forced to live in a home less than half the size, and unbelievably still have to pay to have the grass cut. Life's tough.

Good point! The unfortunate WCI homeowners (and other owners of homes built by smaller mom n' pop builders) do not have this option.

The SS fails to point out that walking away is no easy solution in Florida. In addition to the credit hit, in Florida the bank DOES have the option to sue the homeowner for the amount owed on the mortgage (deficiency judgment).

Learn more about how some 'alleged victims' of Chinese drywall are attempting to get out from underneath top heavy mortgates and federal tax liens at www.MargateNews.net
When I read things like the crap you posted it makes me realize the slime that exists in this country. Not one family with Chinese Drywall is better off than they were before they found out about the Drywall. It is not giving them a way to avoid "heavy mortgages" or their taxes. Without Chinese Drywall they had the option to rent or short sell their homes. Now they can't. Their families have been unknowingly exposed to Strontium Sulfate and other toxic gases for years which has lead to severe health issuesin their children. Even if their builder fixes the home, they may have a house that still needs to be fixed again when the Feds come out with a standard to fix these homes next year. The builder will not fix it again. Even if the home is fixed properly, it may be worth 40-50% of what it would have without CDW. The reason your comments are so hateful is because not one of these poor families could have known or prevented this and you blame them as having an motive. You are a jerk. I wish all the CDW families good luck in dealing with this awful, life changing financial disaster. We are praying for you and your families' health.

I wonder how may of these cases are plausible. To me, it's just another excuse to walk away from a house that isn't holding its value. They bought it in 2006 for 900K and now it's worth half of that.
Thank Heavens for this "drywall" hysteria going on.
Sure, it's the drywall!

There's not nearly enough being done about this. These builders build crap and they get away with everything. The homes down here are garbage.

I hate to use over used cliches, but two come to mind - s**t happens, get over it.

For christ sake, it's not the end of the world, nor is it a major catastrophe. Their home is being repaired and their expenses are being covered. Stop with the melodramatic whining.

GL Homes is going above and beyond, yet these people are still complaining? Unbelievable. What a sense of entitlement. They are paying for their rental and storage. What more do they want?

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Cancer

If you thought yesterday was fraught with tension the temperature rises a few notches again today, as Mars turns retro in your house of finances and values. What's eating you? Maybe you're annoyed because your spare time is being eroded by duties that are weighing heavily on your shoulders. You might also be miffed by the flippant attitude of a certain person who you think should be taking life a lot more seriously. Calm down or you'll blow a gasket.
