Very sad, no matter how hard a parent tries, kids will make bad decisions. Mom was probably home waiting, listening for the front door to open.

Very tragic. With privledged Hollyweird party girls like Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, etc. as young female role models today, sadly this sort of thing will begin happening far more often.

Nothing to WORRY about, they're in a VOLVO safest car in america. Guess when you think you are invinsable...

these are good kids, from good families, and they just graduated from high school with college in their future. this could happen to any family and it is tragic. i pray no parent has to get a phone call like this in the middle of the night.

whether people want to admit it or not lots of high school kids all over the country are celebrating after graduation and before they go off to college. they are no different than any other generation.

Some of you assume she was partying. Not everyone who drives after 9pm is a drug addict or drunk!

show some respect for the loss of the family regardless. What if it was your kid, parent, relative, spouse, lover, friend? How would you feel if someone was mocking their death?

I am not saying it's fair however, I believe that 18 is too young to be driving without a parent/guardian in the vehicle. Especially between sunset and sunrise. This happens way too often.

Man, YOU KNOW I NEVER read these things and the one time I do its about a young girl losing her life in a car accident!

I was involved in my own car accident on May 1st, someone hit me. I was NOT wearing my seatbelt because of my own stupid reasons and I was lucky to not be hurt since the driver of the other car was doing 80 and I was sitting still at a light.

See accidents are called accidents for a reason. So what if it was 1 a.m. you would be saying the same thing if it were 8 p.m. so give the poor girl a break.

Now she is resting in peace, hopefully and if not once you guys stop judging maybe she can go into peace.

As for the survivor, that poor girl is going to have a lot to get through for many many years!!!

I wish the families all the best and hope and pray everyone left behind is strong enough to get through this and all the horrible aftermath that comes with it good or bad!!!

People are so cruel and have nothing better to do then to judge others when they aren't here anymore to defend themselves.

May you all have something to think about now!

Must be nice to know all like you do. Maybe we shouldn't even bother paying for the investigators to look into this tragic accident seeing as you have all the answers.

Wow is all I can say! can we wait til there is a little more info before condemning everybody?

I used to live off of New England. It would take total loss of control at speed to really hit something on that road. It has a slight curve to it and the bridge close to 441 I think would be more dangerous.
Its really sad though.
