We called 3 vets when we had a very sick puppy and they were going to lunch!.. Dr Cato was the only one that wasn't bothered! He was in the middle of surgery and took time in between to look at him! Im def going back to him!!

Who ever told you that was obviously not your friend. Try bringing in your animal, not just mine but many friends, for a routine spay or neuter and either not have then wake up, or he kept them for the night, or very difficult to arouse for that day and the next?.....not to mention all the other stories. And if you pay in cash keep the reciept cause if you don't you will end up paying twice!

Everyone will have different opinions because of different experiences. I personally love him. I know others that don't. if its just a routine check up or whatever give him a shot.

Well my first impressions of Dr. Cato' s office was horrible! The place smells horribly of urine! It's not very clean and the equipment was old. The only good thing about the place was the cost. Never took my dog back.

Dr. Cato to me is a very good doctor. I have been using him for years and never could complain. He's reliable, inexpensive and very good with the animals. He woke up in the middle of the night and made house call when my dog was sick. I would recommend him to any and everyone. It's really hard for me to see anyone not liking Dr. Cato. He's a great person all around.

What do you expect an animal clinic to smell like? He not only treats them, he also boards them some. He also will pick up a stray and let it live at the clinic until someone wants it. I know because I got a beautiful wheat terrier that he found and let me have. He loves animals but I have never been to an animal clinic that did not smell like animals. One thing is for sure he is a wonderful vet and a very kind man.

Didn't a lot of animals burn to death at his clinic a couple years ago? Any vet boarding animals should have a fire alarm system. The thought of any pet of mine dying like that gives me nightmares.

If a pet you loved burned to death in a fire, and it could have been avoided, I doubt you would be taking this so lightly. Get off your high horse.

Doctor Cato always took good care of my pets, he saved the life of one. I took another pet in who had been in a tragic accident, he kept her at his house overnight and gave me hourly reports...although he did try to save her the injuries were too severe. My beloved pet passed. That was almot 3 years ago, I have never received a bill from him. He did his best in this tragic situation...I was traumatized and very distraught
and appreciated the kindness he showed.

Yes there was a fire and animals died. How do you know that there was not an alarm. Dr. Cato does not live there. He was devastated over that and arranged for free counsiling for the people who lost animals during the fire. Accidents happen. Homes catch on fire and families lose there live's, are you the type of person that just has to blame someone anytime a tragedy happens? If you don't want to use him, hell go somewhere else, I will still use him just as I always have. No one really cares who you use.

Dr Cato is the only vet here who loves animals. He will go above and beyond the call of duty to save an animal. Sometimes animals die despite the best medical care. Dr Cato took our puppy home with him at night and nursed her back to health when the other vets said she should be put to sleep. He saved her and charged us a very small fee for all his time and medical attention, He is a kind, wonderful man and I would not even consider going to anyone else.
