Deanna Carr has completely lost her morals this year with coaching! We thought we were catching a break getting Joey Carr out but instead it just got WORSE with Deanna as coach. I have never seen worse coaching in my life! Not only does she not know how to play the game but she is completely unfair to the other players. She is only focused on her "superstar" daughter making sure she is the one to claim what glory she can. She might be a good player but NEVER punished for all her errors like the rest! Her erros never seem to appear on the books! AND she makes the girls sit a game out or run when they have to miss PRACTICE after school(not a game) PRACTICE to go to a dr appt or dentist appt. When are they suppose to go do these things??? AFTER SCHOOL!!! Deanna makes it SOOO miserable for the girls they can not enjoy the game! She makes the players run for EVERY little error. She will tally them up at the end of the game and make them run. Does she explain what they did wrong!!! NO!!!! Now I understand you should run for your errors BUT they should be YOUR errors you are running for. NOT her daughters!! You just hope that its not your daughter she throws a wild ball too to catch the blame.

Ms. Weeks and Ms. Reynolds. We miss you!

she always has been a unfair coach, even when the girls were younger, her only concern is here daughter who just a fair player , not the best on the team for sure. its such a joke. does not teach them much at all. and the girls are tired of it. one girl called a pop up last game, clearly had it , coach daughter ran over bumped her course she dropped it , girl said something not oot of line and queen carr said why didn't you let her get it so stupid, and other coach actions cost them the game

No it's Mandy Miller that keeps the books. I wish adults would act like adults and be fair to the students/players. They work hard and shouldn't be punished just because they don't have parents that work at the school.

Lots of adults there act like teenagers and that is not cutting it. You are an adult. Act like one. Your teen years are in the past. Be a role model for these kids, and lead them. Please.

Also, I'm sorry, but watching our girls jog to the fence and back each inning is downright embarrassing. I have never, in my life, seen another team do that.
It is stupid and ridiculous. What is that accomplishing? Nothing!!

That's what you get for sending your kid to a school where everyone in charge is related. Just wait til you get a taste of your new superintendent, hee hee. This is going to be fun to set back and watch! And Mrs. Super, wait til you get a taste of Armorel parents, lol!

If it was on game day those are Arkansas Activities Association rules, not hers or the school's.

This is what's wrong with Armorel schools now... Nothing to do with the school... It's the meddling... I know better than the teachers, coaches, Administration... If you know so much why don't you go back to school And find out what it takes to get certified for very little pay, to do someone else's job(parenting) much of the time, and have to endure all this bs because you make a choice someone doesn't like. Maybe your kid hasn't earned her spot. I have had to coach my kid in sports before, and it's no walk in the park. No matter what you do ppl think they are favored whenin fact, they aren't treated fairly because we are worried that ppl think we are showing favoritism. You ppl need to get a life. I don't know what kind of coach she is, but what you have put on here you can be sued for.

Defamation of Character....
But besides that... Be adults... If you have a problem with someone, make an appt to discuss it and if you're not satisfied then do us all a favor and pick another sport or play it somewhere else. Life's too short to spend it in drama.

Mr. Carr is right! If this many people feel this way about her coaching, then we need to join together and go to the schoolboard or wherever we need to go and something done.

No one has said anything about missing school on a game day. If you would like to re-read the post you will see that it was about missing practice after school for an appt,(not missing school.) Is it Arkansas Activities Association rules that you can't miss a practice AFTER SCHOOL for a Dr's appt?
AND if thats the case. The coach would rather you miss school then to miss her practice? I'm thinking things are a little backwards there.

About the kids running between innings, I agree, she should've cut at least half the B team but I'm sure she was afraid of losing some and getting down to 9 or 10 players like last year. Instead of cutting them she kept them and ended up with a lot of girls on the team. How many of you actually work with your daughters at home? Work not just throw or talk. If everyone expects their kids to get better by just going to the school practices then you are cheating your kids. It takes a lot of work away from the school practices to get better. Every coach has their faults, but until you actually put the time in to make your kid as good as she can be then it is easy to coach from behind the fence.
