I just hope its a indoor mall with lots of nice places to sit. My dogs get mighty tired at my age after a long day shopping.

Who cares? Thank goodness all of us don't run on and on about our personal lives on here or we'd have never ending threads.

One post and one reply and you have to attack. Much better than the pages and pages of aol cut and paste spam about nothing, which doesn't seem to bother you. I wonder why???

It is probably the hospital that is moving dirt, either breaking ground for construction of the hospital or working on the infrastructure requirements on Santa Rosa.

The pictures that I have seen of the mall represent an impressive 'open air' complex with brick paver walkways, live foliage landscaping, fountains, misters and plenty of places to sit or just interact with other shoppers. Restaurants will offer indoor/outdoor dining, lots of nice options and opportunity coming our way.

No stores confirmed yet. It is hard to get anything more than letters of intent until the project is approved. We are still trying to get the Kingman Crossing interchange issues worked out,but hopefully, things will start moving forward soon. It was originally scheduled to be completed by September of 2009, but our past city administration woes kind of delayed the negotiation phases a bit.

I would love to see some letters of intent.
I would also like to see a sound business plan on why V&V thinks it can succeed in todays market.
Then I would like to see the biggie. What part Kingman plays in V&V's investment plan. How about a plan on how traffic will proceed to HMR. And who will pay for those road improvements and how much it will cost.

I have to come up with all those things just to convince a lender that I can pay him back if he loans me money so I can buy dirt.
Is that asking too much of V&V?
I am positive they have the answers to all those questions already. If they were 5% as smart as my new buddy JR they would not have embarked on this adventure without some supplies, let alone a first aid kit.

I raised my hand first so i get to answer my question. If there was even a question in my rambling diatribe.

Drum Roll..........

Wild guess..........

They are so confident in the adventure that they want us to pay for half the studies?

Oh and by the way
Is it considered unreasonable or worse yet,RAID like behaviour to demand answers to questions such as mine before proceeding to the really good debate about which TI we buy, thats if we even buy a TI?

Before i forget, will we have to sign a noncompete clause on City owned property before we agree to buy a TI from them on credit?

Is now a good time to buy anything on credit?
That opens up a whole new can of worms.
I sure hope obama or someone can reverse this train and get us rolling in the right direction.

The hospital is moving a lot of dirt since they got their grading permit. They travel parallel to the 40. The pit is behind Loves on DW Ranch exit.

I do not think it too much to ask either Ray. I also feel that V/V have been trying to answer those questions but have been waylaid by our past stonewalling mayor.

I am not sure exactly what "studies" you are referring to, but the design cost study for the interchange was agreed to in a 50/50 split between the two THEN property holders, Kingman Crossing llc and the City of Kingman. The agreement also openned the door that should an interchange be built there, that the property holders would split the construction cost of the interchange. One property holder has sold to V/V and that agreement was assigned to them in the package.

I am waiting for the mayor and council to designate a committee of private property holders of the area and concerned citizens together to meet with V/V as V/V has suggested. I am sure that there will be representation on that committee of RAID. Maybe you should volunteer for that committee as well.

Just a correction, the Kingman Crossing llc property was sold to Vanderbilt Farms, not V/V.

We discussed my attendance at this meeting the last time we discussed the same issue a few months back.
I think it is a waste of time. Let donnybrook farms lay their cards on the table for everyone to see.
That would be the first point of order if I held the gravel.

here here
The meeting is now open and hopefully in order.
Would the distinguished gentlemen from Vanderbilt farms please lay their cards on the table so we at least have a starting point for the discussion.

I should mention before you start I have no interest in seeing pictures of other things you have built, etc, etc. You are the pros here. Lets start acting like it.

naw they wont like me and I would be another bone of contention in the high dollar world of TI developments.

From the meetings that I have seen where they have ATTEMPTED to answer questions, they have been overtalked by people opining strongly or just cut short in mid-answer by someone who really didn't want to hear or have heard what they had to say.

Could be why I think you should be there.
