This is a sad situation no matter what perspective you see it from. If the man is innocent, he's still ruined. If he's not the girl is ruined. At least for a while. Yes we should let this thing play out and find the real answers. One of the greatest and saddest things about sexual assualt/sins is all the people that get hurt along the way; from loss of trust, to shame and sadness in the families. Sexual predators are actors. I hope this really isn't an over reaction of the police. Let's remember, it wasn't too many years ago we had this same scenerio in Granbury with a band teacher that was very well liked and trusted in the school and community by parents and kids alike. The fallout was so devastating. I had two children that never went back to band again because they were so devastated. The band teacher developed close friendships with the family to where they would trust their daughter with him. That is the problem with sexual predators, they aren't bad people in other parts of their lives. I hope Ronny is innocent, but don't be fooled by the fact that he's respected in other parts of his life.

Where do you guys live? What town?

Ronny Yates was still living in Cleburne last I heard, but was trying to sell his house. He pled guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 10 years probation as well as surrenderd his teaching credentials.

This thing ended over 5 months ago, let it die.
