I have been a loyal supporter of Barack Obama but I am troubled by his incorporation of the Clinton mentality in his campaign now. He has changed his position several time from his Primary positions. He has included the Clinton's in his campaign, something I voted against in the primary. And finally it appears that his campaign is now using the Clinton campaign tactic of having underlings blast the opponent and, if it turns out badly, disassociating himself from them. Critiquing McCain about his military service and time as a POW is beyond indefensible. What happened to the Obama I supported. Has he become a Clinton in disguise? God forbid.

I'm disappointed already and there is still a long campaign to go.

It is difficult to support a candidate who would send their surrogate, General Clark, to attack McCain's patriotism and service in vietnam. I didn't agree with the Kerry swiftboating attacks. Obama you can't shake this bugar off your finger so easily. You have shown very poor judgment in this instance. I think YOUR WORDS were "This is gonna be a different kind of campaign, one of hope and change." This is just more Chicago filthy, dirty politics. You're no better than President Bush, the Republicans and the swiftboaters. Shame on you Mr. Obama! You have officially scraped the bottom of the barrel and stooped to an all time political low. Is this your definition of change? You are a disappointment!

Sorry, Senator, I don't buy it. Were you gagging on some level elocuting this latest gem of a "thrill-down-my-leg" speech, with all its sudden unabashed praise of the United States? Being a Chicago politician who has flipped and flopped already on everything from NAFTA to meeting Ahmadinejad without preconditions to public campaign financing, you probably weren't bothered at all by the irony and hypocrisy. Now that's audacity!!

Obama said he's against attacking someones patriotism the same day he sent his surrogate (Wesley Clark) out to denegrate John McCains stellar record of service and imprisonment at the hands of the Viet Cong.

His internals must suggest general election vulnerablities.

Change?

I don't think so.

I'm sorry but I voted for Hillary and will switch to McCain. Mr. Obama doesn't have the experience and is basically unknown.

The American people are in for a real wake up call if this guy gets elected A return to the Jimmy Carter era will be the least of our worries. As bad as that was the the socialist movements that spawned Nazi-ism and Stalin-ism are on display and gaining momentum, led by this demagogue and fueled by misinformed, naive, and foolish groups lapping for the spoils he promises. His followers will fall first as they will be blindsided by the events that unfold as others prepare and secure themselves from the coming storms that he virtually guarantees in his writings and speeches. Its all there to see plain as day unless you are wearing a vail over your eyes.So listen to the man, study the man and make your choice for it will be four long years at least.

For Immediate Release
Obama Headquarters
Chicago

We Are Going Green
All persons who would previously be thrown under the bus will now be asked to step in front of a moving train. All the better if the train is electric. WE are committed to energy efficiency and frankly, there is no more room under the bus.

We will continue our recycling program. Expect more recycled speeches from Hillary Clinton, in addition to Duval Patrick's greatest hits. We'll also be borrowing from John Edwards,JFK, Ronald Regan, Brett Mussberger, LBJ, RFK, FDR, Ice Tea and Vanilla Ice.

All previous "policy positions are now inoperable." We will be hanging them out to die...whoa...dry. Fortunately there were not many and there will be no change to the important position of Hope and Change.

Anything said or promised in during the drawn out primary will be replaced with energy efficent(and hopefully centrist, pandering, swinging for the swing voters) new models. Portions of FISA and public financing had to go, as they were a drain on pulling undecided voters. It's also proof that we are all about "change."

Our biggest green push is for your money. Keep it coming. WE had a bad May , our worst fund raising month in 2008. Send Checks, credit cards, gold, oil, jewelry and antiques immediately. If you thought freedom isn't free, you won't believe the cost of "HOPE and CHANGE". We will of course, continue to blame Hillary Clinton for any deficits.

We are proud to be the first campaign since Richard Nixon to not take public financing. It's further proof of our post-racial, post partisan position.

In related news we are proud to announce our new press secretary is the ghost of Ron Ziegler.

The people in here are disgusting. The right wing is running a disgusting campaign. But after the Swiftbook attacks on Kerry, what else should be expected from the scumbag right? He did not send Clark to do anything, because there was no attack on McCain's record. His service was praised while saying that getting shot down did automatically qualify someone to be President. The right knows this except for the dummies that cannot tell the difference. Obama has said time and time again he is not a Muslim. I believe him. The flag lapel incident is nothing. Does McCain wear one all the time? I actually believe McCain is a decent person. But most of the people in this forum are lying scum that will do anything to defeat Obama. Gee, does this mean they are worried he might win? Good!

Obama is a "say-anything-to-win " candidate so I don't believe anything he says. He didn't say much about the subject of patriotism during the primary, didn't even wear a flag pin (not that it's required or needed) so why he's patriotic now? It's because his pollsters tell him to be that way. I don't like the kind of patriotism-on-demand or patriotism when it's politically convenient that Obama is expressing.

If Obama is such a self-proclaimed "patriot," why is it he doesn't deny the support of the Marxist ideology "Progressives for Obama" organization, which is headed by Tom Hayden, Bill Fletcher, Barbara Ehrenreich, and Danny Glover. As a life-long Democrat, I'll be darned if I want our country to be under the influence of the one-time Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Check the background of these and other people in the radical Progressives movement who are pushing for an Obama presidency. This guy is nothing but a puppet for the radical left in this country.

More baloney! Does Obama have to spend all his time explaining away the views of other people? Should McCain have to explain away the right wingers that have been convicted or that have said stupid things? How about evangerlicals that have been caught red-handed robbing the till or consorting with prostitutes? How about Republican-supporting businessmen like Ken Lay, in prison for fraud and other crimes? Does McCain have to explain away everyone that supports him?

What happened with General Clark was an obvious set up by Mr. Obama's campaign to try and even the playing field between Obama and McCain. Clark praised McCain with a back-handed slap. Spin it any way you want. To even bring this up just shows me how low Mr. Obama will stoop. Very poor judgment on Mr. Obama's part. If there was nothing wrong with what General Clark said, than why didn't Mr. Obama just come out and say it himself? Mr. Obama would have looked more statesman like if he had put tape over General Clark's mouth and just given his speech. But today he just looked like a disingenuous Chicago politician. Mr. Obama is no different than republicans and the swiftboaters. What a disappointment!
